Listening to the FOBLniks talk about beisbol has me wanting to play low-key beisbol with some humans.

I think I'm kicking around a small 8 team setup. Nothing crazy, just something that'll encourage some interaction or something like that. Whether it's profligate spending, trades or just something else...

Not sure what the hook will be yet, though will come up with something to make it worth your while.

So you know, if you're down...lemme know and we'll cook something up.

Or I'll just setup my own league, play 100 years and post it here. Because that was my original idea. ;)

Ok, so which of you has OOTP14? I'm going to do a 14 league, because well..I own it and because RANBZA, jimrice's league is in 13 and I don't think the world needs two fast-sim OOTP13 leagues.

I'm going to spec this thing out over the weekend...and it'll be intentionally small after years of intentional bigness (heh) and we'll just see what we get.

Here's the basics:

8-team league
No Finances (I know, crazy right?)
We'll sim the entire season over a month.
There will be a draft and trades of course.
I'll install Statslab so we can do an online draft.

So yeah...those are the basics. My thought is pretty much a low-frills fast-sim experience. And with no finances and trades only, should finally reignite the dormant trade market though obvs we had a decent deal of that during the SLOP run, so not especially worried about it.
