Family Movie Night bought to you by COVID-19
There are a bunch of movies from my childhood that my 17 year old daughter hasn't seen. She likes to tell us we're bad parents because she has never seen The Goonies.
Since things are getting bad with the virus again and winter is coming, we decided to have family movie night on Saturday nights. That starts tonight with The Goonies. My wife and I did some brainstorming last night for a list of movies. Here is what we came up with. I don't know how many of these we'll get through. Taking suggestions. I know there are quite a few great movies we didn't think of. :D The Goonies Ghostbusters Breakfast Club Ferris Bueller's Day Off Sixteen Candles Raider's of the Lost Ark Beetlejuice Lost Boys Batman Superman Stand By Me Top Gun National Lampoon's Vacation The Untouchables Beverly Hills Cop Caddyshack Revenge of the Nerds The Money Pit Big The Karate Kid Romancing the Stone Clash of the Titans Short Circuit |
Some great movies on there.
I'd throw Clue on there though. Also Princess Bride |
Back to the Future
Alien Aliens |
The Princess Bride
The Never Ending Story Hook ET |
I have used the IMDB Top 250 for our movie night list. Obviously not all of them have gotten watched, not many comedies and a lot of heavy movies, but it's a great place to start.
