Feel free to ask about rules, and if I think they need clarifying I'll answer.

I was wondering the same thing, BK.

Player. If you try to lynch or night kill them, it won't work.

Names of roles will be revealed, but a full list of powers and such not until after the game.

basicly I want to be told when we kill a wolf.

There have been a few games in the past where you werent told and it is by far the most frustrating experience in WW.

I'm leaving for the park now to play with my niece and nephews. Bye!

The Jackal 08-05-2008 11:51 AM

It will be made clear if you kill an Ancient, don't worry.

It's too dark to see really anything more than a few steps in front of you, so looking in other directions isn't necessary. If there is something around that you'd be able to see by turning your head in a circle you'll notice it.

I'd say no one has really done anything worth convincing for.

claphamsa had a painful experience after eating a peanut, but we don't really know any other side effects.
RendeR was talking funny and then the Jester said he liked him, but that could be meaningless.

Tyrith 08-05-2008 03:16 PM

Mostly seems like Jackal is playing along with us, which is cool -- in character GM interaction, soundly written, can add a lot of fun and flavor to a game. Although there might be some secret side effect to what clap did, but since none of us know anything about the roles I'm not going to get too obsessed with that.

RendeR 08-05-2008 03:18 PM

Vote count (as of 176):
RendeR (2) - Passacaglia (158), Farrah (165)
Passacaglia (2) - RendeR (150), McCollins (168)
DaddyTorgo (2) - ntndeacon (128), Lathum (175)
claphamsa (1) - PurdueBrad (106)
ntndeacon (2) - DaddyTorgo (79), PackerFanatic (163)

Abe Sargent 08-05-2008 03:25 PM

Lathum moved us to a four way tie. It's early days, but that's as suspicious as anything on Day One.

Vote Lathum

Lathum 08-05-2008 03:30 PM

I honestly didn't even look at the count when I voted but if you want to lynch me go for it. We'll just be losing a villager.

Lathum 08-05-2008 03:31 PM

dola- I will add though Abe is saying making it a 4 way tie is suspicous but so is bringing a new candidate into the fold instead of picking someone with 2 votes already...

If I was forced to choose right now I'd probably vote for Pass - Render is being funny, ntn and DT I haven't gotten to play with for a long, long time. Plus I told ntn after I got him D1 lynched (FINALLY!) eons ago I'd stop doing it for a while, and this has probably on been about 5 games for me after that :P Pass came in as a substitute which means he's probably got less investment in the game -- not that any of us have much on the line right now. I was going to mention KWhit's Cruise performance. Interestingly enough, KWhit was a wolf in that game.

Farrah Whitworth-Rahn 08-05-2008 04:09 PM

The character is Shylock, the money lender.

Prince Arragon speaking to Portia in Merchant of Venice.

I have no clue as to the relevance, but the bolded line sounds like "I'm a villager, if you lynch me you get what you deserve." Of course a Duke or a Brutal wolf could say that with extra meaning.

The Jackal 08-05-2008 04:17 PM

The Jester chuckles softly, sounding like he is standing next to each of you.
