Sheesh what a pretty disastrous off-season that was for us. I flirted with salary cap death for most of it due to improper math on my part, and then had to do everything I could to just field enough players for the season.

I kept the core of the team in tact, but cohesion, chemistry and everything else got shot in the foot. Thankfully we'll be fine next year, but this year might get a little bumpy along the way.

Won't matter too much I don't think, half the teams in the league now are just run of the mill, should be easy wins against all AI teams which is a shame.

I think there are enough quality teams that making the playoffs in the NFC isn't something to take for granted. Of course the winner of the NFC north likely will have a below .500 record again.

Or you could be in a division with 3 other human owners while others have 1 human owner..

Yeah, I didn't pay enough attention to that and went with the only open team I actually follow. I should have looked closer and gone for a more open division.

I thought it was just you and me in the division now.

Stupid AI playing the backup QB most of the preseason when my starter is young and needs the reps too...

Just for the record I am happy to take more than one team.

I have been trying for about 10 minutes to load the textsports.net stuff to upload the file, but my browser is just spinning.

I am guessing the server is busy updating or something right now?

Looks like a temporary glitch in the matrix. By the time LS answered my IM (all of like a minute or two) it was back up.

It just worked for me, but it is painfully slow still. Just be patient with it.

FYI, I was not able to upload yesterday, I tried 4 or 5 times to do it, but couldn't get the page to load any of those times. I haven't had time to email my file to Ben, but I get off work at 8 AM MST and as soon as I get home I will try to export again. Contacting Ben to see if he can hold off on simming, but I wanted to let the league know whats up too.

If I do not have my export in by 11:30 AM Eastern, go ahead and run the sim because I will have become caught up in something else and may not have time to get back to the computer for a while.

FWIW a Trouble Ticket was put in right after it went down the second time in this case, but dreamhost was apparently pretty unresponsive.

I will be emailing it if I cannot connect to textsports. I meant to last night but woke up late. Im at work now, so as soon as I get home (roughly 8:15 AM MST) then I'll immediately upload or email the file. There will not be a delay longer than that if there is a delay.

As far as I know, there are not any issues with the site anymore.

Update: leaving work in 38 minutes, should have the file in within the hour.

I'm going to have to run this after noon, fyi. Probably around 12:45 or so.
