Wheel Of Time - Battle in the White Tower (Early Signups)

BACKGROUND

The White Tower - The White Tower is the seat of power for the Aes Sedai, it is run by the Amyrlin Seat and the Hall of Sitters (representing each of the ajahs). The sisters of the White Tower have long denied the existence of the Black Ajah, sisters serving the shadow, and have ignored the warning signs inside their own fortress. The shadow has taken the opportunity to recruit and convert novices, accepted and full sisters over the decades, and now the time is right to crush the tower before the last battle begins.

Balefire - It will be important to understand the forbidden weave of balefire in this game. In the books it is said that the use of Balefire destabilizes the pattern itself, as it tears anything it touches from the present and the past. A person hit by a weave of balefire is not simply killed, they are removed from the past based on the strength of the weave they are hit with. In this game, balefire will be strong enough to remove a player from the game, so far into the past that it will be as if they never signed up in the first place.

Death and Voting - Due to the chaotic nature of balefire, when a player is lynched or night killed, they may return to the game based on subsequent uses of balefire. In order to account for dead players having been alive in the past, all dead players need to vote via Private Message each day as if they were alive. You will not see an updated vote tally for previous day lynch votes, it will be up to the living players to figure out how each dead player may have voted in the event that one is suddenly reintroduced to the game. Of course, they could tell you how they voted, if they choose to do so. Dead players that do not submit a vote will have their vote randomly assigned between the top two candidates for that day (from the pool of currently alive voters).

For those not familiar with the books. If Player X kills someone with balefire during night one, and player X is killed by balefire on a subsequent night, all balefire kills, and votes by player X are nullified as that player never existed to perform those actions. Those players killed by player X are suddenly alive again as if they had never been killed, and the lynch votes by player X are removed for each day.

Role Revealing - Players killed by a lynch vote will have their role revealed. Players killed by balefire will not be revealed, as they never existed to begin with. Also players who are killed in the past will not have their roles revealed, you will feel like you should know something more about that person, but the pattern is just not cooperating.

Deadlines - Lynch vote deadline will be at 9pm EST. Night actions are due at that time as well. Expect a significant time delay at the end of each day for all previous days to be modified and adjusted.

Order of Night Actions - Aes Sedai will use their abilities first, followed by the Black Ajah night kill.

Lynch Votes - There is not an option for “No Lynch” in this game. If a player is selected to be lynched and due to other events ends up removed from the game for a previous night, it will be as if that player was never around to be lynched at all. In this event that player will be removed from the lynch vote and the next highest vote will count as the lynch.

Lynch Ties - Will be sorted out by random chance. If a previous lynch vote becomes a tie due to players having been removed from the game, those previous lynch ties will also be decided by random chance.

Dead Players - Dead players are not allowed to participate in the thread. They will be required to PM a vote to me by the end of each day.

Roles

Good
Aes Sedai - A few Aes Sedai are more liberal in their interpretation of the use of balefire. While it is forbidden by tower, some good sisters have used it in the books against the forces of the shadow. Some of the Aes Sedai in this game will have a one time use ability to perform a night action of balefire directed at a target of their choosing.

Aes Sedai (By the book types) - The remaining Aes Sedai strictly adhere to the rules of the White Tower and do not know the forbidden weave of balefire. These are your villagers.

Evil
Black Ajah - The sisters of the shadow will use balefire each night to eliminate a rival sister from the pattern. These sisters will have PM rights between themselves, and must declare their target along with a priority scheme for who is attacking.

Numbers will be determined once sign-ups are finished

Concept sounds amazing. I'd be in but I fear you won't get the numbers it justifies.
