I assumed a straight up give of an item didn't require an accept. my action was to sell my item and the pincer.. i'm good for whatever.. lets search..

We went into the darker bricks and found a small metal chest waiting for us in a room where no sound is allowed. This chest might be bashed either today or tomorrow

I was the "lucky" one who got to fight the featured monster above-a rust monster.

Bad: My long sword was dissolved during the battle.

Good: I had another long sword thanks to the room with the weapon racks-so glad I didn't trade/sell it now.

Good: It did the amount of damage to me that I had just healed yesterday.

Bad: I have no healing items left so likely will have to retreat to the lighter bricks.

Good: I finally got a arrow attack off.

Bad: It missed.

Good: I got a boatload of xp for killing the beast.

Bad: I'm 50 xp short of going up a level.

Did you get confirmation from Abe in the Djinn market email that the pincer was sold, and what you got for it? If not, we may need to ask Abe if we still have it (somewhere in the nether regions of possession that lie between us).

I'm going to rule that symbols which resemble letters cannot be used. So @ cannot be used for a, 0 cannot be used for o, and so forth.You cannot replace the vowel with a symbol, you have to remove it compeltely. I am, however, okay iwth thigns like "m 4 hpp tnght"

In a display of fighting that was something short of awesome:
Quiwth ranger was 5/5 hitting me.
I hit him one time.
Danny, the mage, landed two hits and did about 4x as much damage.

It is a bit hard keeping up the evil/menacing facade when I handle my business like that in combat.

Danny, I've got a mace that is magic - I would be interested in trading that for the chain mail and sword. After that last display I'm pretty sure I need better gear.
