Well there are apparently still quite a few Crawling Claws in this room, guarding something very evil I might be able to get to if I could put up a distraction. Nothing really coming to mind though, not sure if it would be worth dicking with all these claws when that may have been what got KWhit killed.

PB, search turned up a chest which is trapped and locked. Hopefully your action was more interesting and the hat turned out to be something useful.
