JAG, I'm probably going to have to equip this stupid shield because I can't let it eat my current one (mainly because my current one is pretty freakin' good). Can't figure out another way past this.

Still debating this whole shield thing...not sure it can help me in today's battle, having her OR my original one. Hmmmm...

JAG, if you log on, let me know what you think shield-wise. I was able to make the Giant miss twice in our last battle, meaning that I do need some sort of shield here and I'm afraid she'll eat my other one before we start the battle. Thoughts?

This is even worse. It's one thing when Abe curses me but now I am knowingly and willingly taking on a curse. Sheesh!

The best part about that, in my mind, is that I was at a point where I said "I might as well make this thread more interesting" and went to take the shield. I figured that PB was going to have a lot of fun mocking whatever curse I received.

But lo and behold, I'm an idiot and didn't read the rules properly - I can't equip a shield! So it had to move on, and it found its rightful resting spot today. We all get to continue mocking PB (and JAG, who has finally had the PB taint rub off on him). All in all, I consider the 25 gold that I spent to hold the shield before it transferred to PB money well spent.

You know, I've basically become the Handy Manny or Dora of this dungeon, I'm carrying around a bunch of tools/items that talk. If only they sang

"I'm the sword, I'm the sword, I'm the sword, I'm the sword, I'M...THE...SWORD!"

Chief.. i got an exp bonus.. debating on a morning action now

We now have 4 charges of the lock picking wand... and I have 25 extra HP that have to be destroyed first

Interesting day. First off I have no idea what is in my inventory. Second I suspect if I ask Abe again I shall end up cursed!

Sheila and The Dispeller combine to form a new power of items!

The Dispeller is now a +4 sword!
Sheila is now a +4 shield!

However, the enhancement of their power comes with an enhancement of their new curse.


Sorry PB, but these items and curses were made PRE-game, just as an FYI

1). These two items are now mega-cursed. Mega-cursed items cannot be removed EVEN with a Remove spell, scroll, remedy pot, etc

2). The Dispeller's curse is back in full swing. No more vowels for you in Dispeller posts. You must also post in The Dispeller's color for Dispeller posts

3). Sheila has a curse as well. You must post in magenta for Sheila. Additionally, you must end every line by calling the person you are speaking to with a term of endearment - such as Honey, darling, cutie-pie, etc

Because of the alternating influences of sword and shield, each post you make most alternate from a Dispeller post to a Sheila post. Beginning now!

Abe REALLY doesn't like PB's posts. You could have just flubbed rolls and killed him Abe!

Yep, but might be a little harder to kill him now with a pair of +4 items.

I wonder if he'll keep posting at his regular rate, or just try to shut it down to avoid the pain and suffering from these curses?
