EDIT: Ben's daughter's thread.
She's down to 7 minutes apart and counting. :)

Sounds like all systems are go man. Enjoy the trip, it can be fun/scary/exciting/panic all wrapped up into a crazy little ball!

Hope you've had your sleep. Congrats!

I'll run whatever FA stage is next at some point tomorrow, but it may not be in the morning. We'll see.
Dude, just tell us all to take a seat and take some time off. Everything is going to change with your schedule so we can't really expect you to be on top of things here for a while.
agreed

Love the name. Congrats!

The story of the name: The Lewis Family: Carter Ravenel Lewis: What's in a name? |
Rich with tradition too.. Very nice.
I was named after a western. They keep telling me to "come back". I guess that the legacy I am supposed to live up to.. :p |
cute overload!
I don't frequent this sub-board, so I had missed this.
Congrats! :) |

I'm in the same boat, my folks and brother are on the other side of the country. When I get a little lazy/busy I'm sure to hear it from them if I haven't updated the website quick enough for their liking. Come to think of it, I've got some work to do!! :) |
Saw this just today - congrats Ben! Hope it's going well.
hahah, look at that hair, sweet!
Awesome!! Making noise already, too...very cute!!
Ya, nice mop!
Good grief, how have I missed this for the past three months?!? Congrats, Ben! :)
The hair comments have been interesting. Tons of them in person. I haven't been around many infants not from my family. Of my five siblings, all of our baby pictures include heads full of hair, and the same is true for the cousins that I've seen. Carter was born with a head full like the others:
I'd always just assumed that it's a black thing, but maybe it's just my mom's side of the family, for all I know. (The Lewis side of the family lived mostly in Chicago, and I rarely see them and hardly know them. I don't know that I've seen any of their baby pictures, or babies.) |
I assume you have acquired a nice size stick to beat the young men of your area away, right?
If not, look into it when she gets older, cause she's a cutey |
Adorable! I remember that transition into "appears to be cognitively aware and able to interact with you" phase. It was awesome.
Which is soon followed by the "No is one of the first words they learn phase" where the interaction stops being nearly as cute ;-)
So, so cute!
This makes me think about how much I miss my nieces and nephew, I've been about 3 hours away from my family for the past 3 years but I'm moving home this coming weekend and I couldn't be happier. I actually bought a house about a block away from my older sister so I'll be 5 minutes away :)
She looks healthy and happy Ben, you must be proud beyond words. |
