I was going to ask you the source material, Abe. I know Ravenloft of course but had never heard of this Gothic Earth. That's really interesting.

Barkeep and I were turning in an extremely strong wolf performance the last time this was ran. Regardless of side this time around I have unfinished business with this rule set.

We didn't reach the max, but I think 22 is a great size for a WW game.

Before we begin, I just want to take a moment and thank all of you for jumping in and playing this with me. I've wanted to finish this game for so long! I made some fun changes, tweaked some rules and roles and items, and I hope that you have as much fun playing this as I had making it. Enjoy!

Well disappointed that I'm just a vanilla Lightbringer this time around. :( But very happy that Abe is running this game again-its really a fun ruleset.

So for those who played in the first game, check the rules out-there are more roles and in this version we CANNOT pass to a role only to a person. So be careful who you send your items to.

No ryhme or reason yet. perhaps our "randomness" will lead one of the Red into self preservation mode quickly and we can get them quickly.

Big, big game. And since the number of bad guys grows in this game, I assume there's a smaller than normal amount of them right now, and some may not be able to converse. Which means we're in it for the long haul probably before info gets useful.

I'm heading to bed but should be on regularly tomorrow.

I'm going to re-read the rules when I'm more awake but my first takeaway is:

Looks like we have a lot of vanillas so far, you can throw my hat in that ring as well. I bet we do have a fair amount of vanillas in the game but hopefully we can get lucky and hit some bad guys early on.

Rule or no rules, I'm still remembering how I got ganked last time. WHen the big bad deathmonsters ended the day early. Be wary of such evil tricks my lightbrothers.

I've already copped to having the vanilla Lightbringer PM. But a re-read of the rules reminded me that everyone has an item. Probably not all as hardcore as the one I got (right, like I would be talking about it if it was something that sounded particularly cool) but everyone should be bringing some kind of lumber to the plate, so to speak, on Day 1.
