Finally, the Cougars won the big game. Despite a below average game from star QB Cody Myers, State beat UCLA with defense, allowing the Bruins just one visit into the red zone all game, and through making less mistakes. The Cougars held UCLA to 50 yards rushing and forced 4 turnovers.
