New to game (Just Downloaded)
 

Can someone pleaseguide me to how to get a single game started by myself? I just downloaded the game and have no idea how to start? Everytime I hit F1 for help it tells me that the help page is not available to me...

Can someone, anyone get me started on a single player leage as the Baltimore Ravens? Thanks!

When I click on help it says "failed to launch help." I think that may be because I moved the PDF somewhere or other...I'm not sure.

For a single game career all you have to do is click on the "new career" button in the menu bar on the top right of the window. The one that looks like sorta this (obviously not this colorful or large):



Of course, make sure that the "Multi-Player Controls" box is closed. That's the face icon. If that panel is open then the new file button will try to start a new multiplayer career.

The help thing is because of Windows 7, and the older version of a help file that FOF uses. Go here and download the fix - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607

It's always interesting, after years of dealing with the user-unfriendly interface and idiosyncracies, to see someone new take it up. Welcome aboard. :) It really is a good game, but there are some very weird things about the interface.
