Former Raider Ben Davidson dies at 72 - Yahoo! Sports

Met the guy once when I was playing a gig at the Hotel Del in Coronado. Got to talk to him for about 10 minutes in between sets. Nice guy, talked a little bit about football and what he had been doing after he retired.

Surprised this didn't show up on here.

The old Madden-era Raiders made for great NFL Films footage, that's for sure. Big Ben's mustache stood out even among that group.
