How quaint. This maze seems like the most fun spot ever so far.

Will mccollins vote still count?

Will it matter anyway, it doesn't look like we're going to get to a consensus except possibly no lynch (as several players' heads explode at this thought).

Barkeep49 08-06-2008 05:34 PM

I presume we've not seen the last of mccollins, in some form.

PurdueBrad 08-06-2008 05:36 PM

I was wondering the same thing, given the name of Phoenix.

Lathum 08-06-2008 05:37 PM

tru dat

The Jackal 08-06-2008 05:38 PM

His vote won't count anymore, as he's dead.

The Jackal 08-06-2008 05:39 PM

Moments after the explosion you hear a thunderous howl of pain.

Lathum 08-06-2008 05:41 PM

i think someone was close to him

Passacaglia 08-06-2008 05:42 PM

I'm a little upset with mccolins's role being revealed, without hearing what his powers were.

PurdueBrad 08-06-2008 05:43 PM

The "howl" implies wolf, no?

Farrah Whitworth-Rahn 08-06-2008 05:43 PM

Minotaur? Or Passacaglia the magical alchemist dinosaur? :P

RendeR 08-06-2008 05:44 PM

Umm, pot...kettle....man we have this discussion a lot in here....

You can make whatever comments you like about how the game was run when it's over, but I decided not to reveal powers until the game was over and I'm not going to switch on that mid-game.

RendeR 08-06-2008 05:44 PM

My comment as directed at Pass

PurdueBrad 08-06-2008 05:50 PM

So thoughts on what happened? Are there mines? Wolf-kill? Someone's ability to kill? Minotaur?

Lathum 08-06-2008 05:52 PM

maybe he lit a fart

Heck if I konw what's going on right now. With no role info it's pretty much wandering in a fog right now. I'm kind of expecting to fall in a spike pit pretty soon, or maybe to get eaten by some variety of giant snake.

The Jackal 08-06-2008 06:01 PM

"Snake you say? Not a bad idea..."

PurdueBrad 08-06-2008 06:06 PM

How about the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man?

Sorry, that wasn't directed at you -- it's just that everyone else liked to bitch about not getting to know someone's powers, I thought I would join them! :p

Passacaglia 08-06-2008 06:11 PM

Since my power won't be revealed on death, I might as well do it now:

I brew potions. I've got a few items to do it with, but I don't know how to use them yet. At 3 PM I can examine one of my items and find out how to use it, and at 10 PM I can actually brew a potion. To perform either action, I have to forego movement. At 3 PM yesterday I (retroactively since I technically took over for chesapeake after 3 PM) learned about one item, and at 10 PM yesterday I moved. Today, since my powers were stripped (thanks, whoever did that), I'm moving both times.

Do you brew them with your tiny dinosaur arms?

RendeR 08-06-2008 06:23 PM

Unvote Passacaglia

RendeR 08-06-2008 06:24 PM

"Why haven't you captured the boy?!?"

"Because I have a little arms and a GREAT BIG HEAD..."

Tyrith 08-06-2008 06:29 PM

Eh....okay, whatever. I'll go to the only other person with a chance of getting lynched.

UNVOTE PASSACAGLIA
VOTE NTNDEACON

Barkeep49 08-06-2008 06:52 PM

Can anyone else verify that their powers are slightly different at different deadlines? (I'm assuming, FTR, that we all have powers).

Also I think that howl of pain is just as likely to be mccollins reborn as anything else.

ntndeacon 08-06-2008 06:57 PM

I was thinking someone else was hurt by the explosion. Whether it was a wolf or one of us remains to be seen.

Nope.

DaddyTorgo 08-06-2008 07:04 PM

don't want to lynch pass at this point, that's for certain.

and I was on NTN yesterday, and since I'm against no-lynch

Not here. I a think rebirth as well.

Abe Sargent 08-06-2008 07:09 PM

I generally fall against no lynches in games, but this game has an interesting rule set. I'm not sure we are benefitted by jumping into lynches half cocked after learning the new way of winning (which I did not know yesterday).

ntndeacon 08-06-2008 07:13 PM

UnVote No Vote
Vote Telle

well if we aren't going to vote for Pass. HOw about another possibility.

The Jackal 08-06-2008 07:16 PM

ntndeacon 4 - KWhit (455), PackerFanatic (677), Tyrith (727), DaddyTorgo (731)
Passacaglia 3 - Farrah (524), PurdueBrad (674), Barkeep49 (676), Tyrith (690)
no lynch 2 - Passacaglia (684), Lathum (685)
Telle 1 - ntndeacon (734)

Barkeep49 08-06-2008 07:19 PM

Why is what Pass has to offer something that we want to definitely keep? We are keeping around something that might, or might not, actually be useful. The same is true of ntn.

Tyrith 08-06-2008 07:20 PM

clap talked all day and never cast a vote *shakes head*

That's true, he had an awfully long to come up with a fake.

path12 08-06-2008 07:25 PM

Somebody hit me on the head. I just woke up.

ntndeacon 08-06-2008 07:26 PM

it might not be a bad thing that we are split into three tonight. it will be interesting to see what happens if we are at the same number of folks voting for the lynchee, but not a tie. That might tell us as much as getting a wolf.

Or not. We need a lynch, if only to know what we need to get a lynch.

RendeR 08-06-2008 07:34 PM

"Did you hear what I hear? A howl a howl, screaming through the night, may it bring us safety tonight, may it bring us safety tonight....."

DaddyTorgo 08-06-2008 07:34 PM

do we have any rough thoughts as to how many wolves there are?

RendeR 08-06-2008 07:38 PM

I would assume 3, based on the total number of players and th fact that we have a minotaur to deal with also.

ntndeacon 08-06-2008 07:41 PM

I was thinking three as well.

Hello random. Or was it? Why did you pick Telle?

ntndeacon 08-06-2008 07:50 PM

It was random. I don't have a good reason to pick Telle, or really anyone at this point. I chose Telle because I have more posts.

ntndeacon 08-06-2008 07:53 PM

I would be more than happy to go back to No Vote. It does me no good to go to Pass as he would just go to me. With no vote I can at least stay alive and not vote for someone that seems to be not a wolf.

Lathum 08-06-2008 08:14 PM

no posts for 20 minutes?

Farrah Whitworth-Rahn 08-06-2008 08:15 PM

I'm trying to get dinner together.
