LOL I think this should be the new running joke in all future games. Screw with Kwhit when he's already in last. I wish I had done it. Green Room Hoooa! |

Thanks PB! Happy Easter! I should change my name to CrimsonBunny... Going camping this weekend. Hope the weather improves. Looks like another busy week for me next week. Nice descs and text PB. Great stuff. |
there's 5 people left right?
|
We have five players left, but I did just get word from ntndeacon that due to family issues, he'll need to withdraw. I'm going to work on getting a replacement for the rest of the way. I'll keep you updated in the morning.
|
Quick turn-around. Lathum is stepping in for ntndeacon and will play through the rest of the game. He won't likely get caught up until later tomorrow. Thanks Lathum and good luck all.
|
Is there a consolidated voting history anywhere?
|
Quote:
No, nobody has put together a definitive voting history Lathum. I'll see if I can point you towards final votes. |

Here's D1 Lathum |

D2 |
OK, so the players list is really confusing to look at. Is this list correct with regards to who is still alive?
Lathum/ NTN CF KWhit DV Schmidty |
Perfect Lathum, yeah.
|
This is the least amount of attention at the end of a NFL draft I've ever seen. Come on guys, let's see some chatter.
|
D3 was a complete runaway on Abe Sargent after the seer announced.
|
D4:
All voted henry, except henry voted ntn (Lathum) |
FOR THE SAKE OF THE REST OF THE GAME, BEING DRAFTED WILL NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE DEAD.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select, with their #3 overall pick, KWhit, quarterback. He'll hopefully put together a new air attack down in Tampa Bay and attract a lot of those Georgia fans down to games. The Washington Redskins, with their new quarterback Donovan McNabb, have picked up a complementary weapon. Look out fantasy world, Darth Vilus is the 4'th overall pick by the Washington Redskins. The Kansas City Chiefs have used their #5 overall pick. The newest Kansas City Chief will be...ntndeacon/Lathum! The Chiefs will love having their new man in the middle against the running attacks in the West. Stay tuned as we await the #1 draft pick, revealed tonight at 9 pm CST. Remember to get those votes in... |
hmm, no one left has a particularly good voting record.
DV's vote on Abe day 2 really sticks out to me. Was anyone who is left playing cleared by the seer? |
Wow. Quiet!
I was hoping for some insight or analysis when I opened the thread. I'm going to try to do some re-reading and see if anything jumps out at me. |
Quote:
Nope. Nobody's cleared. |
The one thing that is interesting to me is how few posts DV, ntn, and Schmidty have in the thread. I expect that from ntn (and sometimes from Schmidty), but I was under the impression that DV is usually a pretty involved high-post-count kind of player.
Lathum to your point about him, I noticed the vote for Abe on day 2 as well. I don't know what to make of that - it could be a villager having a good read on Abe, or it could be a wolf looking for brownie points later in the game. From the looks of the timing, he introduced Abe pretty late (as a 4th candidate, after J23 and Henry both had 2 votes). But still, that's a risky thing for a wolf to do... But I know that's a move I would make if I were a wolf - especially since Abe was the brutal. I want to get a vote out there to promote discussion, because I don't like how quiet it is. Makes me feel like the wolves are wanting us to drive discussion and only get involved if the spotlight starts to shine on them. We're down to our last shot. VOTE DARTH VILUS |
I'm going to go through the voting again, and come up with a vote. It's my daughter's spring break, so I'll be around the rest of the day. We were out and about all morning eating and at the park and stuff. It's a rare semi-sunny day right now.
|
Back from camping. Slammed at work.
Today I will vote for the under the radar player. Wait.... |
My vote choice was going to be CF but kwhit's vote bothers me. I don't buy his reasoning at all so now im pretty torn. Have to think it over a bit
|
VoteDarth Vilus
|
Quote:
your reason? |
Really quiet day thus far.
Vote count- Darth Vilus 2- KWhit (421), Lathum (425) |
as of right now
Vote Kwhit seems a little too scared |
What do you mean?
I do find it weird that we're at end game, it's been all day, and nobody's talking at all. Yes, I find that strange. And basically, I want to get some discussion going because this silence isn't doing us any good, IMO. |
Hit and run after reading through quickly. I don't feel great about anyone, so I'm just going to cement this one.
If I'm wrong, I suppose I'm next, but oh well. Vote DV |
I'm warning you all, if i die then the wolves win. Period.
we'll lynch a villager and then they win with the night kill. |
vote DV
|
Watch and learn my friends. Only at the end will you understand, The Dark Lord is never wrong
|
CF's vote will not count as it was on the 9:01. Here are the results for the final two draft spots.
The Atlanta Falcons are on the verge of drafting Schmidty when some late-breaking news comes in regarding a possible failed drug test. There are no clear answers about where this rumor started but it has the desired effect. The Falcons select wide receiver Crimson Fox. The Lions, not bothered by character issues, draft the home state hero Schmidty #2 overall. The running back will be strongly welcomed in Detroit, as the drug test is seemingly little more than rumor. Darth Vilus has been voted out by his peers. He was a vanilla villager. Lathum/ntndeacon and Schmidty are killed by the remaining two wolves: KWhit and Crimson Fox. Well played! |
Wrong or not, the Dark Lord is lynched.
|
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY.
We are teh winnerz! |
HOOOOOOWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL!
|
Darn lame servers....it said 7:00 on my end. Darn Latency!
*highfives to kwhit and dead mentor Abe!* :) |
I'm not sure about the seer reveal so soon. With the BG already dead, the seer is your only anti-wolf tool left, and to trade on Day three with just two seers in the back pocket? I was happy to trade the brutal for the seer on D3!
|
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
I am SO glad we didn't need CF's vote tonight!
:) |
I kinda feel like I lose tho being drafted by Atlanta. Anything connected with Michael Vick is icky.

What about Ron MExico? |
Well I was waiting at the buzzer but had to keep doing work stuff. Then hit the button just a hair too late I guess. But I knew it didn't matter.
|
And was also worried about a late inning rally if I DID vote with anything greater than a minute to spare.
|
PB, did my Kicker strategy work?
In real life, no one cares if a kicker can run a fast 40 time, just if he can kick the bloody piss out of the ball. So I focused on games, interviews, etc, and not stuff like that. Did the game take that stuff into consideration? |
yep, knew it. schmidty, lathum, thanks for the help :-)
|
You knew it yet you said you were trying to decide BETWEEN Kwhit and I. Why not both? :)
BTW Henry your intuition this game was SCARY!!!!!!!!!!! You picked all three of us! Twas a pity no one listened to you. Did I say pity? I mean Bahahahahaha! Seriously GOOD Work! |
Immediately after I was killed on Friday, I PMed PB and said Kwhit was a wolf. If he was a villager, he would've been much more willing to discuss options instead of just jumping on my bandwagon. Plus, my final post had CrimsonFox. Lathum - any reason why you didn't vote for him based on my analysis?

The game took into consideration the overall importance of individual events rather than position specific importance. I would like, if I re-run this next year, to tailor it more to the position. So you nailed some important events but the 40 did hurt some. |
