Every time I listen to a Brian Flores conference, I'm so thankful Dolphins ditched Gase.

Just a random thought cause he surfaced somewhere, but is Kevin White(2015-#7) the highest skill position player ever selected not to score a TD with his original team? I know you could say Bo Jackson but he didn’t sign.

Ernie Davis, drafted #1 overall. :(

I dunno about the accuracy, but some commenter I read somewhere insisted that Incognito is 35 and no other active guard in the NFL is over 34. Why in THEE hell would anybody sign Richie Incognito?

stevew 05-29-2019 11:52 PM

We're conveniently ignoring that he was heavily armed and ready to commit a homicide like 8 months ago? Hitler could probably find a job in the NFL if he could set an edge.

thesloppy 05-30-2019 12:54 AM

Today it came out he threatened his grandma and punched a whole in her wall....around the time he was intent on cutting off his dead father's head. And we haven't even mentioned the Miami shit.

That’s just the grit that makes you a Gruden grinder

Kodos 05-30-2019 07:35 AM

He just cut his dead Dad's head off! Bam!

Las Vegas hotel room rates skyrocket for 2020 NFL Draft | Las Vegas Review-Journal

If you didn't book your room before this, better get ready to sell a kidney or something.

As much as I love the NFL Draft, and I do love it, it is an event I have zero interest in ever attending live.

It doesn't even seem that exciting for the people there.

The Titans are on the clock. Cut to group of fans dressed in crazy costumes. Pick is announced. Fans stare blankly for a few seconds and then cheer. Wait a few hours and repeat.

The only thing more funny to watch is when a team trades out of the round and then fans get no picks for the day. What is the narrative then? 'Well we dressed up in our crazy costumes but our team decided it best to trade for .more picks tomorrow. Go team!'

It's truly amazing what we will do for football.

albionmoonlight 06-11-2019 09:08 AM

I agree. It is hard to think of an event that is better suited to television as opposed to live viewing then a sports draft.
