Not terribly surprised that it's quiet, there's only nine of us after all. Bound to be less posts than the last few games

Really, just trying to liven things up a bit here. Very quiet day one. Not much to be learned from it at all I feel.

Though with no role reveals with kills, we'll be a bit blind until someone needs to reveal their role. BUT THEY COULD LIE TOO.

Gosh. There are no real checks for us here.

I'm expecting a heavy dose of that later in the game.

Doing my best. The unfortunate thing is that I typically disavow tone reading if I can help it; this just happens to be one of those scenarios wherein I have no alternative, really. (At least until we get a couple days' worth of actions to piece together.)

The priest is going to be as crucial as the seer. Worst case for the village is one or both die before revealing anything.. then it's going to be a bit of a crapshoot.

Fair enough, it's weak but i don't think I could put anything better together with what we've had in the thread so far.

My read on you last game was based on your reads of everyone else, and it served me well, or I got lucky, take your pick.

This is reminding me of a game I played recently where nobody talked, and the wolves won because we kept lynching our townies.

Agreed that both of these should really reveal at the right time. You take your knowledge with you when you die, unless...

My mini-pings are on cheeki and the mysfit/Chief interactions.

Well, the sorceror not knowing who the wolves are makes things interesting. They're a wildcard - they could reveal earlier on as the seer trying to force a reveal, or have an interesting decision if they are alive and there's only 4 or 5 total people left. If no wolf deaths have been revealed, when do they reveal? I don't want to expand too much so as to give the sorceror too many ideas, but there's a higher chance of fake role reveals in this game than others, I'd say, since it's difficult to prove as death is usually the ultimate proof.

Plenty of risks to be taken - if the priest/seer hasn't revealed and it's late in the game, does a wolf take a risk and guess they are dead? Just lots of interesting choices I could see. Maybe the likeliest is that it remains quiet and we are at the behest of revealed info from the Priest/Seer .. but we'll see.

And I have to say, it sounds like everyone's in good spirits. Which makes things fun!

T minus 1 hour roughly. I am tinking the wolves won't consolidate on themselves so we'll need some action. I'm not voting for cheeki if he's afk. Chief is a possibility. Anyone who has played with chief have a read on him this game?

Autumn... can you explain your vote on chief? Old school reasons?

I can't decide if CR's plea to vote him instead of consolidation was sincere or weighed up as a trust decision. Bit early for him to make a trust buying move like that. But if the choice is brit or CR, I'm going CR.

No reason for the vote on Chief, just consolidating. Anyone have a current vote count?

I feel pretty good about Timmae so far. I'd rather not vote Cheeki given his RL stuff, but then again if he's thevote at least he doesn't have to worry about this.

As long as he isn't the seer/priest, but hopefully he would have revealed in that case. Can't tell if he really caught up or not though.

I really have no clue on whether or not cheeki is evil or not but are we really going to lynch a guy who is currently at the hospital?

This is risky but on principle I'm not going to vote for someone who is having RL issues. I'll go to my other self defense option.

I feel pretty sure that while a wolf might use a RL absence as an excuse to not be around and post (I certainly have), I don't think a second wolf would use a first wolf's absence as an excuse not to vote the first wolf. That's too much! but I certainly do historically advocate for not lynching someone day one who isn't around to counter, so I'm happier with you or Chief just for that.
