Abe Sargent 06-19-2015 09:06 AM

Someone is fighting this:

timmae 06-19-2015 09:08 AM

That looks like a task for a kitty cat to handle.

Abe Sargent 06-19-2015 09:17 AM

Someone Else is Fighting a Two-Dimensional Stalker!!!

Autumn 06-19-2015 09:27 AM

Hey Jackal, sorry I didn't manage to team up with you. I was interested, but just wasn't around that day. If I catch up with you, we can talk.

Nice! Sounds handy.
Znarled ID's the ring and it's a Ring of Fortune! It's shiny and I'll wear it for good luck - hopefully better luck!

timmae 06-19-2015 09:52 AM

Galron, Lavinia is kind of a bore... I saw a locked chest over in the corner. I don't have a key but... if one of us bashes the heck out of it the other can grab the loot. Then we could hightail it outta here before anyone of these goodies can stop us. The only downside is if there is an elemental or spirit locked in that damn thing but what's the likelihood of that, right? Let's grab us some evil chaos!

Gorm know Abe. Abe like put things in box. Things that hurt.

Chief Rum 06-19-2015 10:00 AM

Gorm spend night thinking, feline friend.

Gorm and Znarled fall behind. Must take risk to catch up.

Think go dark bricks again, beat Trow now.

cheekimonk 06-19-2015 10:02 AM

I'll be out until D6 Morning, all. If you come across me and want to party up, I'll auto-accept if Abe allows it and let you lead. We can begin wrecking havoc Monday!

timmae 06-19-2015 10:06 AM

Happy Fathers Day cheeks! There is a 100% likelihood you'll have a great day!!

Great! glad yo got something useful in the trade-good luck going forward

Thomkal 06-19-2015 10:40 AM

Glad I fought the Vegepygmy instead of that dimensional thingy. :) I find myself 50 xp from 3rd level and a 2nd level spell that likely will be my salvation going forward. The vegepygmy did not drop any treasure, so I'm left with a dilemna-kill another vegepygmy and for sure get enough to level or risk a new room so I can get a monster(s) that will be more likely to drop treasure (I have 0 gold and no treasure outside the ashes) Decisions, Decisions....

Zinto 06-19-2015 11:02 AM

I decided to use a nocturne potion last night to some pretty good results.

When I entered my new room yesterday I found that someone had taken a large amount of salt and drawn a large circle symbol on the floor. I decided that I didn't like how it looked and broke the circle.

This summoned a Horned Daemon, a powerful monster who would normally not be found in the room I was in. When the Daemon was summoned it shot a magic missile at me hitting me for six damage. Which made me eat a bundle of herbs.

It was hard for me to connect my Dragon's Claw to the enemy but after a hard fought battle I defeated it and also felt myself get stronger.

Today I will probably be headed to the darker bricks to see what awaits me.

Bash Object - If you are a non-Scout, you can try to open a door or chest by bashing it. You may take some damage, it will be very noisy, it may not work, and you often break some items inside chests.

Requires action, so we can't without skipping movement today.

Abe Sargent 06-19-2015 11:24 AM

Rough and tumble but you survived! In decent shape if you are headed for the darker bricks!!

Question... am I right to assume as long as I have available herb bundles and/or healing potions that they can be used to replenish HP during a battle? For some reason I was thinking they couldn't be used during combat. i.e. who stops fighting to eat some herbs. Do we lose a round of attack or something? It may affect when/how I use the healing.

JAG 06-19-2015 01:05 PM

You can use healing items in battle but it costs you a round of attacking to use them, same as any other items (wands / scrolls)

Abe Sargent 06-19-2015 02:46 PM
