FOFC Racing - Camping World Truck Series - Season 2 - FINAL RACE POSTED
Welcome to Season 2 of the FOFC Camping World Truck Series. If you would like to sign-up, head on over to our sign-up thread. FOFC Racing Sign-ups The Truck Series is where the future stars of the FOFC Racing Series will get their start. Drivers that finish in Top 5 of the truck series point standings will get the opportunity to move up to the Sprint Cup Series if a spot is available. If the driver who finishes in the top 5's owner already has two drivers in the Cup Series, they will have the option to replace one of their Sprint Cup drivers with their Truck Series driver. Owners in the top 5 with no Cup drivers will get the first chance at moving up. Owners who already have one driver will have the opportunity to move up after owners with no drivers have taken their positions. Finishing in the top 5 does not guarantee a promotion, if the Cup drivers who finish in the bottom 5 only have 1 driver they will be demoted currently. The Truck Series will not have playoffs like the Sprint Cup Series does. We will have 10 races in the Truck Series with the leader at the end of 10 races being crowned champion. Make sure to also follow the Sprint Cup Series where the top drivers in the FOFC Racing Series race. If you would like to enter into the Truck Series, head on over to the sign-up thread. Current Sprint Cup drivers can also have Truck Series drivers. We will kick off Season 2 from Daytona on Friday.
Could you change Kinnicks sponsor to GMT Games?
After a few year hiatus, Andrew Foley finally getting back into the mix!
The trucks are hitting the track for practice as they get ready for the Nextera Energy Resources 250 from Daytona this afternoon.
A little bit of bad news, I haven't been able to get the race in yet and I'm not sure how time will be for me the rest of the day. Things got a bit busier than I expected so we may have to push the race back until Monday unless I find some time here soon.

Race #1 of 10 - Nextera Energy Resources 250 Results
Daytona, FL - Today's start was a bit delayed by some brief rain showers we had over the track early on the day, but the rain clouds subsided and allowed us to get in some terrific racing. Heading into the day, there were a million storylines to talk about. How would former Cup drivers Nile Kinnick, Billy Bushinhimer, Ricky Anderson Jr, and Kellen Killinger fare after their demotions? How would newcomer Andrew Foley run in his brand new #85 Google Ford? Who would be the driver to step up after Root, Letto, Kizer and Long moved up the Cup series?
As it always is at Daytona, it was anyone's race. The lead swapped hands 77 times in 100 laps. Coming to the end of the race it was Nile Kinnick who made the move to the lead with just over a lap to go and it looked like he hit the nitro at that point as his truck rocketed to the front and to a huge lead for Daytona. Kinnick was able to hold off Andrew Foley coming to the line to record the victory. We have video from the race as well but won't be able to get that posted right away. |

Looks like Kinnick didn't like the demotion.
1st and 4th for Godzilla Motorsports. Great day. |
100 laps of tight pack racing! THere should have been about 30 wrecks then :)
Cannot complain at all about that start. Top-10 qualifying, Top-5 finish in my first race back. Hope the 85 Google team can keep it up!!

We head to Texas today for the Winstar World Casino 400.

Race #2 of 10 - Winstar World Casino 400 Results
It was a great day for Hurricane Racing. Hurricane Racing features the #2 of Barrett Hays and the #3 of Brett Hawkins. Hawkins started on the pole and led 112 of the race's 167 laps. His car was virtually untouchable for the majority of the race and despite his car fading slightly at the end of the race he was able to take the checkered followed by his teammate Barrett Hays who finished 2nd, 0.68 seconds back.

Chris needs to step it up. Next race the 3rd Kizer, Andrew, will make his Truck Series debut taking over the #53 Truck that Will drove last year.
Kinnick finishes in the top 10. Stays in first. Poor Rico is just struggling again. We may be looking for a new driver next year. Rico may go back to dirt tracks.
Sucks getting stuck in the middle of the pack with nowhere to go.
Bushinhimer, Wheeler and Diamond need to show something soon or they will all be replaced next year.
Tomorrow we will head to Myrtle Beach for the Myrtle Beach 200.
Good news! Looks like I have gotten everything figured out with my computer and we should be able to get going again tomorrow!

Race #3 of 10 - Myrtle Beach 200 Results
Chris Kizer started from the pole and dominated the first half of the race leading the first 99 laps. After the first pit stops though his car would fade to a 10th place finish. For the 2nd half of the race it was all Coy Duke as he led 81 laps and won by 3.12 seconds over Kellen Killinger.

Can't figure out a reason for BL's drop-off to this point. Interesting...
2 Top 10's (and a Top 5) for Team Letto, I'm Happy with that. We are currently
12th & 13th in points |
Nile Kinnick is doing everything he can to show he belongs back in the Cup Series as he led 31 laps and picked up his 2nd victory of the season. Brett Hawkins was 2nd followed by Gustav Nielsen, Andrew Kizer and Landon Nicholson.

At least Foley finished on the lead lap this time - still can't get out of the middle of the pack though.

Two new spots have opened up in the Sprint Cup Series. We won't be filling these spots permanently until after the season but for the remainder of the races this season we have two spots open for each race. What we will do for these races is have Truck Series drivers fill in. Each driver can sign up for one race to participate in.
