Here I thought I had given you a little pep talk when you were going to throw it all away to the ghouls.

If you are going your own way, so be it. I wanted to have three people in the party so we could move through rooms faster, getting more loot, and access to better items - likely for all of us.
- I won't always do more damage, although it has worked out that way the last two encounters
- I certainly won't find all the items in rooms
- I'm really not that worried about having others soak up damage for me when I can heal half my health every day. It is nice of you to do it and all, but it is hardly my primary driver.

With two of us in the party, Jackal and I almost certainly will need to remain on this level a bit longer. And that is a bit of a buzzkill, at least for the one member in the party close enough to sober to experience that emotion.

The biggest issue I had with the party, other than tolerating the people in the party, is that you and Jackal were both positioned to advance levels faster than me. Which was going to be a factor at some point if I wanted to be in the top 5. But I had put that out of my head in the short term in the interests of taking on encounters like the Efreet and reaping those rewards 2-4 days faster than we would otherwise be able to do so.

Okay, I will be leaving soon, and I have to submit an order for the Afternoon phase. I will attempt to have the party open one sarcophagus.

But it may end up being just me opening the sarcophagus, depending on what Abe allows. Hopefully he will allow us all to open it together and face whatever is inside together.

I have nothing to gain from staying with you hoops. You guys now have a huge XP advantage over me and you arent ever willing to actually give me anything unless you get good value for it which I cant offer.

There was a point earlier where you got the items for several straight days - while I was taking the damage - that you decided not to share any of the spoils with me. And I had to head to the Djinni to get food, selling the one magic item I had in order to pay for it. So I'm certainly not going to apologize for returning that favor to you at this point.

However, if you want to have a realistic shot at living on this level of the Dungeon you would be better served joining a party. Whether that is with us again, with Thomkal, or some 3rd option is entirely up to you.

Hey JAG- I'm going to heal up but, honestly, I'm up for anything. Going back isn't that attractive so I am tempted to go the only way we haven't been although it's a scary proposition.

No idea about the value of the tentacle or how much better it is than a normal weapon if at all, but I would sell it pretty cheap if you want to give it a go.

Presumably the chest is the best place to find items but could also be trapped, and I have the best chance of finding something like a secret door in the rest of the room. I really haven't gotten much useful loot the entire game, but I'm cool having you search the chest and me search the room to maximize efficiency, trusting that if there's something that's of no use to you but useful to me you'll consider the worth of keeping a strong team!
