VOTE RENDER
So is the voting deadline 10 PM Eastern? |
Quote:
Correct. I'd put it in the thread title but I don't know how/don't have access. |
ntndeacon 1 - DaddyTorgo (79)
claphamsa 1 - PurdueBrad (106) DaddyTorgo 1 - ntndeacon (128) Passacaglia 1 - RendeR (150) RendeR 1 - Passacaglia (158) |

VOTE NTNDEACON
A spread-out vote doesn't do us a whole lot of good, and I would feel bad voting for clap on the first day again. |
Quote:
Fie is folly is fantastic deprecation. Fie on you in return swine! Turn a dogged ear to thine pestulance.! |

because this ^^^ crap is going to get annoying :p vote RendeR |

I agree that we probably shouldn't let the vote spread too much. I'll transpose my vote on chesapeake to Pass. for now:
Vote Passacaglia |
The Jester appears above everyone sitting in an armchair, just in time to hear RendeR speak.
He raises a brow and shoots down out of the sky next to RendeR. "I LIKE this one." He cackles and disappears. |
Here, caught up, probably going to sit on my vote a little while longer unless someone can convince me otherwise. I'll be here until the lynch.
|
Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Jester, a fellow of infinite
jest, of most excellent fancy. |
Quote:
I'd say no one has really done anything worth convincing for. claphamsa had a painful experience after eating a peanut, but we don't really know any other side effects. RendeR was talking funny and then the Jester said he liked him, but that could be meaningless. |
Mostly seems like Jackal is playing along with us, which is cool -- in character GM interaction, soundly written, can add a lot of fun and flavor to a game. Although there might be some secret side effect to what clap did, but since none of us know anything about the roles I'm not going to get too obsessed with that.
|
I know not the humorous one, he hath ensnared me uterly in his little web of deciet and villany.
|
Vote DaddyTorgo
|
Now it's a 4-way tie at 2 votes. What a normal D1 mess. At least it's more useful than 1 or 2 person bandwagon.
|
Vote count (as of 176):
RendeR (2) - Passacaglia (158), Farrah (165) Passacaglia (2) - RendeR (150), McCollins (168) DaddyTorgo (2) - ntndeacon (128), Lathum (175) claphamsa (1) - PurdueBrad (106) ntndeacon (2) - DaddyTorgo (79), PackerFanatic (163) |
Lathum moved us to a four way tie. It's early days, but that's as suspicious as anything on Day One.
Vote Lathum |
I honestly didn't even look at the count when I voted but if you want to lynch me go for it. We'll just be losing a villager.
|
dola- I will add though Abe is saying making it a 4 way tie is suspicous but so is bringing a new candidate into the fold instead of picking someone with 2 votes already...

If I was forced to choose right now I'd probably vote for Pass - Render is being funny, ntn and DT I haven't gotten to play with for a long, long time. Plus I told ntn after I got him D1 lynched (FINALLY!) eons ago I'd stop doing it for a while, and this has probably on been about 5 games for me after that :P Pass came in as a substitute which means he's probably got less investment in the game -- not that any of us have much on the line right now. It sucks, but someone's gotta die.

I'm starting to think RendeR isn't doing this to be cute.... |
Quote:
Haha, that'd be a hilariously awful role to have. Probably a good reason to keep him around -- usually the amusing roles go to the good guys. |

Ok this is Shakespeare. Merchant of Venice. Shylock I think is the character? Spylock? |
Quote:
I was going to mention KWhit's Cruise performance. Interestingly enough, KWhit was a wolf in that game. |
The character is Shylock, the money lender.
|
So what, we have loan sharks in this maze?

Othello. Iago is the character, he was a villain I believe. |
Evidently Farrah knows her Shakespeare :)

Quote:
This is Iago in Othello. Google books is pretty handy! |
Quote:
Hamlet Polonius is the character speaking. He was the advisor to the King Claudius. |
Quote:
Prince Arragon speaking to Portia in Merchant of Venice. I have no clue as to the relevance, but the bolded line sounds like "I'm a villager, if you lynch me you get what you deserve." Of course a Duke or a Brutal wolf could say that with extra meaning. |
The Jester chuckles softly, sounding like he is standing next to each of you.
