Werewolf-New Game- Murder at the Ski Lodge-D2 deadline Wednesday 8:30 EST
 

Will put up rules and roles at a little later date. Would love to get 14-15 players and ideally start on Monday. Deadlines will be 8:30PM EST and use a 24 hr clock.

Game will be a very basic game with maybe a few twists. We haven't had a game in a while, lets represent!

PMs will be going out this evening.

WW is a game of lying, cheating, and decite. This will be a pretty straightforward game. The deadline for both cycles will be 8:30 PM EST. Each day you will vote to lynch one person by bolding the selected candidates name.

VOTE PLAYER XXXXX

The person with the most votes at the deadline will be removed from the game. All ties will result in a no lynch.

Any and all night action will be due by 8:30 PM EST as well and will be run immediately following the day results.


Roles will be assigned randomly; the Moderator will inform you of your role via PM when we start the game. The following is a description of the roles that may be in the game.

Seer – There is one Seer in the game and he is on the villagers team. Each night the Seer may choose one other player to “view” by sending a PM to the moderator with that player’s name. The moderator will tell the Seer whether his chosen target is a werewolf or a human.

Bodyguard- May guard one player each night from attack. May not guard on consecutive nights. May guard themselves.

Duke- Once per game may change the outcome of the lynch result.

Lovers- May PM freely with each other during the game. One of these lovers is kind of a slut, and if their partner is killed they will move on to another random partner.

Regular Werewolf – The werewolves know who each other are and may send PM’s between themselves to discuss strategy. At night the wolves PM the moderator the name of the player they’d like to eat. In the morning that player’s death will be announced along with his special role

Brutal wolf- If lynched he will have the option to take a villager with him

Cunning Wolf- Scans as a villager

Hunter – There may be one Hunter in the game and he is on the villagers team. If at the end of the game the Hunter is alone with one wolf then he will kill that wolf and what would normally have been a wolf win will be a village win.

Sorcerer – There may be one sorcerer in the game and he is on the wolves team. The Sorcerer is an evil human and wants the wolves to win. If the wolves do win then the Sorcerer wins also, but if the villagers win then the Sorcerer loses. However, the Sorcerer does not know who the wolves are and the wolves do not know the Sorcerer. Crucially, the Sorcerer will appear as a simple human if viewed by the Seer

Villagers – The villagers have no special abilities other than their own deductive ability. They will have to vote wisely to win the game.

You thought you were off for a fun and festive weekend at the slopes. Skis are packed, lift tickets bought and plenty of booze and food have been thrown in the back of the car.

Things go great the first night, everyone getting along great, eating, drinking, and being merry.

However, when you awake the next morning you find the mutilated body of hoopsguy, entrails strewn about the kitchen.

Awesome, it's been too long since we've played. I'm working tonight so I should be on for a while to start things off. I'll even start a spreadsheet!

This game might be a little tough to gauge exactly the number of wolves / roles in the game. We can assume a minimum of two wolves. I'd have to think that if all or most of the listed villager roles are in the game then that would mean at least three wolves with there probably being a sorcerer. If some of the possible villager roles are not present, then I'd say the most likely scenario is probably three wolves without a sorcerer.

Hah, I had that version of Sorceror in a game I ran Lathum, when you were a wolf, and you hated it. lol

Yeah, I agree Danny, hard to say what the ratio would be. I assume all the roles aren't in the game, but not knowing which, it's a crap shoot. I say we just keep killing wolves until we win.

It kind of seems like the only roles that there may be a question about would be the sorcerer and the hunter since their description says "there may be a...." while the other role's descriptions seem like they are definitely in the game.
