Hi, all. I have a samurai-themed WW game ready to go. It is based on the Tales of the Otori and Cloud of Sparrows series of novels which introduce some fantasy and unique concepts into a fascinating period in the history of Japan (Edo Period). I have run the concept past path12 via PM and, at last review, he approved of the idea and mechanics. It's mostly (~90%) vanilla with the narrative flavor setting it apart (again, mostly). I thought a vanilla game would work after Dungeon 3 and might spike participation up again since it had dipped lately. I can run it solo or with an experienced GM. Let me know what you guys think.

Wondering how a Town of Salem style game would play out.

Should this sub forum get changed to werewolf and other games? Maybe adding traffic to the forum would increase our werewolf games as well.

Played one, moderated one and a half, and still wondering! Finding lots of tweaks and exploring different ways to incorporate and balance roles that are not particularly conducive to forum style play (like the spy, medium, transporter, etc.). Gotta say, though, with the amount of rules, sub-rules, and exceptions to rules, it's more confusing to mod, and easier to make mistakes, than a typical WW game. Experiment in progress. So far, the Town appears to be overpowered, even with a bunch of neutrals included, so need to address that.

Speaking of Town of Salem (4 years ago), looking to fill out a new game (have 10, looking for 15, or at the least 11).
