Playoffs
 

Incredibly after a disgusting start to the season the Lions went on a big non-losing streak of 8-0-1 and get to the playoffs (!) after losing to the Vikings on the season finale thanks to a little help from the Eagles (go Julio!).


So, what happened to spark the run? Affinities, baby! Filled the team with them as much as I could. Should have done that years ago, I guess.

Go figure. The league is going and we finally make the playoffs. We go into it with our backup QB too. So if we win, it'll be a miracle.

What a killer. Give up the game tying FG at the buzzer and then throw a pick on our own 6 in OT to hand the win to the Chiefs.

Terrible way to end things. But really, the way this franchise has been, making the playoffs was more than we could have asked for and overall...a good way to ride off into the sunset.

Thank you Firefly for everything throughout the years. Even though this was my least successful team in any league I've been in, it was enjoyable having the challenge each season. All of us owe you and Bode a great deal of appreciation.

I hope one day to find you again in a league somewhere. To the rest of you ruffians...I'll see ya around the FOF universe.

Ugh...so true. We ended up laying our injured QB..because...what the hell. Not sure his injury played into the picks he threw, but it'll be a game of "what ifs"

well well well, I picked the bowl, and got a +5 on wins..

it's amazing NE never got over that week 1 loss to the Jets....
killed their playoff position..

At least we won the division like almost always since I came there, the Jets were never a rival, Buffalo never had a formal GM and the Dolphins were in eternal rebuild since their magic back to back seasons... What can I say, I will miss your full blitz defense that only needed the back and the TE in extra protection, too easy Frank, too easy.

Yeah, we were just about to be good again lol... I think we have four first rd picks this year, lol.... and it was only a two year “rebuild”...
