Battle for Wesnoth

Don't know how many of y'all read Gone Gold but Battle of Wesnoth was mentioned in the Forum the other day. It's a free fantasy turn-based strategy game. I've only had a chance to tinker with it a bit. So far it seems interesting enough to warrant a try.

I'll give it a try. Thanks.

A little thread necromancy here.

I recently started playing this hotseat with the kids (7 and 10) and wow, they love it! The last three days all they've been able to talk about is playing Wesnoth. Tonight they even tried ganging up on me (which never happens).

I enjoyed the campaigns, but I have to admit, I am really enjoying the MP right now.

This is a very high quality game.

Hey! By chance I saw this thread in the front page. Battle for Wesnoth is a fantastic free open source game and is the other game I play apart from Front Office Football.

I've never played MP, though.

If you ever want to give MP a try let me know, I still fire it up from time to time ...

May want to look at this, have two kids (8 and 11) so maybe it could become a fun game for the three of us.

Let me know. I'm an hour behind, but I can certainly work to schedule a game.
