Well the vote count doesn't really matter (but thank you) because:

"Five votes? FIVE votes? Do you really think that's enough? And they call me the fool."

I'll be back with more.

Sounds like it might be another game where we'll need a majority or a certain percentage.

claphamsa 08-05-2008 09:09 PM

yeah, blower!~

PurdueBrad 08-05-2008 09:09 PM

For 40% we would need 7
50% we would need 8
50%+1 is obviously 9

So we may need to start coming to more of a consensus.

claphamsa 08-05-2008 09:10 PM

I fail at UTR! :(

No joke! I thought you were going to be quiet!

Tyrith 08-05-2008 09:17 PM

Quiet is just boring :P

mccollins 08-05-2008 09:18 PM

I agree ;-)

PackerFanatic 08-05-2008 09:32 PM

Hmm...I should have jumped on half an hour sooner, I do not like that hit-and-run reveal by Pass.

RendeR 08-05-2008 09:34 PM

Alright damnit, I've closed my office, driven home, taken out the garbage, gotten the mail and opened it, grabbed some dinner and we're STILL waiting???

I hate waiting.

Tyrith 08-05-2008 09:35 PM

No, we're not waiting for results.

Tyrith 08-05-2008 09:38 PM

We had a couple of hit and runs today I did not like. BK's vote in particular struck me poorly when it was cast. Pass revealed like he expected it to change our behavior, and it obviously didn't, so I'll be definitely interested in his explanation.

RendeR 08-05-2008 09:38 PM

We're wainting for movement results and night action results, are we not?

path12 08-05-2008 09:39 PM

I hate missing a vote, especially a tie. It's rude to you guys and Jackal.

I would have voted Pass because of the nature of the reveal. Suspect that RendeR was either overcome mentally by some game mechanism, whether temporary or permanent is yet to be seen.

So as for suspect moves:
Pass for the reveal
KWhit and myself for not voting
Those who stayed away from both the votees, especially if any of those were online at deadline.

Guess we'll see. At least I'm caught up. Is there any sense of either coordinating our moves or just moving secretly?

Ah, well, usually night phase in the morning, so I'm not in too much of a rush for those -- getting those tonight is just a nice bonus :)

I fixed that typo of yours....

mccollins 08-05-2008 09:42 PM

Path, no one has mentioned coordinating moves.

We may know more when we start to see each other? I haven't seen anyone yet.

RendeR 08-05-2008 09:43 PM

With the 3pm/10pm split I was assuming the 10pm deadline would include al the night action stuff too, I could be wrong, its been known to happen.

I need to go pick up a tasty beverage or something, then I'll send out the movement results.

I think it's fairly evident that we'll hear more tonight.

RendeR 08-05-2008 09:57 PM

I'll ome back in a little while, I'm bored.

I got my movement PM. Looks like they're on their way.

The Jackal 08-05-2008 10:09 PM

I did it as fast as I could - I didn't even go anywhere to get a drink. Moving everyone in the labyrinth and writing out 16+ PMs takes some time, itll probably take around an hour after each deadline. Everything should be out now.

The Jackal 08-05-2008 10:12 PM

"One more thing," says the Jester, "You'll be happy to know that the Ancients were unable to kill any of you. Well, some of you will be happy."

The Jester exits this time playing some sort of crude harmonica.

Farrah Whitworth-Rahn 08-05-2008 10:13 PM

So.....no one was lynched. And no one was killed.

How unfulfilling.

The Jackal 08-05-2008 10:17 PM

I might check in again before I hit the sack but I'm pretty tired so if not I'll get to any questions in the mornin.

ntndeacon 08-05-2008 10:17 PM

I am certainly looking forward to hearing what Pass has to say. and what he did as the alchemist.

ntndeacon 08-05-2008 10:19 PM

and mccollins was certainly helpful in sharing who was here near the deadline.

mccollins 08-05-2008 10:22 PM

G'nite folks.

Farrah Whitworth-Rahn 08-05-2008 10:22 PM

Can we vote for The Jackal? :)

I forgot that we've really got no reference point yet. We'll get one sooner or later, I suppose. I can see benefits to being able to somewhat coordinate, but it's a guess at this point whether the Ancients can cover enough ground and how much power they actually have.......since if they can block easily it makes no sense to telegraph.

Barkeep49 08-05-2008 10:25 PM

Ok so essentially today is a more informed Day 0. I can live with that. Anybody want to talk about the sort of pregame options they had?

You say these things knowing that RendeR will have to respond. And yet you say them anyway. Hmmmm.

RendeR was randomly posting quotes regardless of what I was saying.

I meant more that RendeR would be unable to keep from replying to a comment from you regarding being unfufilled.

Couldn't think of the right smiley for that. In retrospect, too dry.

WOW. I am RUSTY. That flew way over my head. :)

PurdueBrad 08-06-2008 12:29 AM

Hey guys/gals,

One quick note from me. I'll be out all morning tomorrow as the insurance company FINALLY faxed me acceptance of a treatment for my Crohn's. For those of you that don't know, I have Crohn's and both "miracle" treatments that they've come up with (Remacaid and Humira) I've had intense, life-threatening allergic reactions to. The funny thing is that there was supposedly no way it would happen with either! So, the doctor I'm seeing at Rush wants me to try yet another shot. I'm heading into the city tomorrow to try this one (and have to do it again in 2 and 4 weeks) so I'll be out all morning but should be able to check in after noon. I'll have my movement orders in but wanted to explain my absence (not that you probably cared!). Thx!

claphamsa 08-06-2008 05:49 AM

goo dluck PB!

mccollins 08-06-2008 05:59 AM

Take care PB!

mccollins 08-06-2008 06:24 AM

KWhit - 3 posts? Seriously? Everything alright?

claphamsa 08-06-2008 06:27 AM

ok, work!

so.... we dont know why there was no lynch...

A. Tie is a no lynch
B. It went to one of them who was unlynchable?
C. Not enough votes!

What we do know, Pass made a wierd reveal/ dash.

I refused to switch cuz RendeR was annoyign me (hopefully it was a short affliction)

We dont knwo what pass' role does, and some surmised that it doesnt make sense, but I dont see why not (although he shoudla said more than just revealing)

The ancients "failed" to kill anyone, thats a quote from jackyl! so it wasnt a no kill situation it was either a block, or the picked the mintaur.

Passacaglia 08-06-2008 06:27 AM

Someone stripped my powers, so I can't do anything today.

claphamsa 08-06-2008 06:32 AM

care to tell us about said powers? and the reveal/ dash?

From the rules:
Quote:

Only creatures in the same section as the Ancient performing the kill can be targeted, and they will be informed of their choices.

So my guess is that none of the Ancients were in the same section as any of the creatures.

How big is a section anyway? Is it one room, or is it a set of rooms?

No I mean that you did a reveal without explaining anything about it, leaving many people to doubt your reveal. And now you conveniently can't show us what you can do.

I'd rather wait until there's a night-kill.

That doesn't seem so convenient. Anyway, I was never planning to SHOW you what I could do.

This was my first thought as well.
