Tis all in a day's work. I couldn't have done it without my trusty squire, Abe....awww...who am I kidding. Yea I pretty much saved that place.

Abe Sargent 06-17-2015 08:48 PM

There's only a 20% chance that path will die - there's a 12 needed to hit just a 40% chance, and then even if hit, the dog would have to roll a 3 or 4 on a d4, just 50%. 50% of 40% is 20%. Priobably won;t die.

timmae 06-17-2015 09:46 PM

The biggest error you made today, squire, was calling me "Dubb" rather than Ser Dubb. How dare you?

You have my wholehearted apology m'am!

Danny 06-17-2015 10:46 PM

Well in my way to level 50

Abe Sargent 06-17-2015 11:53 PM

Day 3 is in the Book!

Abe Sargent 06-18-2015 12:00 AM

Your Day 3 Wrap Up with teh Sprite Crew You Can't Ignore!

That's right Sparkles, that's why I think that the participants in the Mulberry Dungeon Block will come out on top over all.

Okay, I hear we have final results from the Fuschia Block for teh day as well. Where are we standing at?

Well, we have several folks have hit that precious 3rd level, and most are at 2nd, but we still have a few in the back sucking a hind cow's teat.

That's a disturbing picture actually

Would you prefer sucking a Griffin's Penis instead?

You know I almost actually would

Well that says more about you than about the coverage. In the meantime, we have had three meetings today between contestants already, and then we had our first UniFight!!!

The ones that are scheduled to be broadcast to the whole Dungeon if someone fights them?

Yup, those are the ones!

We also had someone help out the Mill and keep it safe from bandits that were raiding it. You know how it is, we have to teach these peopel good adventuring manners after all.

That's very true

Anyways, we have my personal Top Five after day 3. Want to see where the changes have occurred?

Sparkle's Top Five:

1. dubb
2. timmae
3. cheekimonk
4. JAG
5. Ragone

Huh, I would have The Jackal at 5, Ragone at 4, and then JAG not on the list at all.

Which just goes to show this is anyone's game.

Well, that's what we are contractually forced to tell everyone anyways.

Ah, you slay me!!!

Now to to the Cerulean Block again....

Ragone, was that water in a well surrounded by Klackons? If so, you're not far from me, but I haven't been in a piņata room so you may be heading in the opposite direction in any case.

It was a fountain actually.. Had to deal with an eel..

Abe Sargent 06-18-2015 09:01 AM

Just sent out some pms for the morning action,

We had about 5 people not take actions. Folks, I'd recommend always doing something. Did you find something with your last search? Why not search agan? Have an item you want to identify? Try to iD it!

I'll work with you in any possible to get you to play the game. I'll take actions early, I'll take tentative actions, etc.

The Jackal 06-18-2015 09:03 AM

Hey you, insect. Want work with Oliv'scar? Insects not like chaos, Oliv'scar understands, does not care. Chaos is chaos, chaos not care.

Oliv'scar is heading to level 2, you let Oliv'scar know if you want to team, yes?

Here is team, if you are interested:

Oliv'scar joins party Klackzak

The Jackal 06-18-2015 09:04 AM

(ooc: Not to self and to everyone, don't send PMs to anyone except Abe even if you are in the same room as them, CAPISH?)

The Jackal 06-18-2015 09:09 AM

(ooc: note to self, that is. definitely to self.)

Well, you know we entered that burial chamber for Siko. Well, as the legends postulate, Siko was a master at keeping her opponents from gaining ground and had even started a school of martial arts. It is blind luck that as a Sis-Sharr I am taught early on that movement can be your best defense. We know all of the legends and histories of Siko. A better master of defense you will not find.

In addition to the legends heard as a young Sis-Sharr, I had chosen early on to become skilled in the ways of the Kensai. The Kensai are artful warriors that incorporate movement and defense as a main strategy. We cannot wear armor and become very skillful in dodging attacks as we progress, becoming warriors with reflexes equal to heavy suits of armor.

With my history there couldn't have been a more apt possession to stumble upon than Siko's tomb of history that she herself had written. This is an invaluable book that simply cannot be found anywhere else. In addition the opportunity to gather her ashes for future holdings could be passed up.

I decided to attempt to retrieve the possessions knowing that they are likely guarded by some kind of spirit. Indeed, a Spirit of Shadowsong was protecting the items. It awoke when I tried to grab the book and a tough battle ensued. I hit for decent damage with my first swing of my guisarme and was instantly attacked by the Spirit. It hit me and I was blinded. Luckily I am very agile and have sound footing so I was able to gather myself even though my sight was gone. I sensed the spirit nearby and took a few more swings but I did not connect. Luckily I was not attacked either as I was dodging whatever attacks may be thrust my way. It happened to hit me with a glancing blow as I stepped to the side after my 2nd miss and I was able to obtain a feel for where the spirit may be. With one final mighty swing I was able to hit the spirit directly for the final killing shot.

My sight returned a short while later and I found that I did not take more than about 15% of damage. All in all it was a worthwhile trade for the artifacts obtained.

I will be keeping the book as it is very dear to me. The ashes are as well but I can already sense the huge power that lurks within. While I want to keep the ashes as well as a prized possession they could be invaluable to a spirit magic user. I believe Silver Claw (Thomkal) is our only ritualist in the dungeon. I would be willing to trade if the price is right.

JAG 06-18-2015 09:24 AM

I'm glad I was picking daisies while all this happened. Used to be that a fight in the room meant the party took part in it, but maybe that changed or I couldn't detect the spirit.

Hope you don't turn the daisies blue...

Gorm feels unappreciated.

Suggest go darker bricks, Znarled. Make fortune. Get on list.

Methinks it'll take more than strong pepper spray and a mangy feline to defeat some of the beasts in the next stage of the dungeon. ;)

Timmae, I'm obviously interested in the ashes, right now you are second in line for ashes trades, so I hope you are able to hold on to them for me until I'm able to trade for them.

Zinto 06-18-2015 12:11 PM

With a little luck I was able to find a hidden path made for Dvergr. A few hits of my Dragon's Claw and I found a path. I decided to head down the path and was met with an attack from a wisp.

It hit me once before I took it out and I finally hit level two!!

I found 100 gold, a nocturne potion and a wand. I also started glowing and grew a foot taller.

I look forward to moving ahead today and seeing what I can find.
