It's US Open Time!
The US Open is beginning on ESPN right now. Woo Hoo!
Chris Berman is doing the introduction. PLEASE tell me he isn't going to be doing ESPN's coverage. Acckk! So who will win? |
Dola
There is a hole (#17, I believe) that is a 250 yard par 3. Holy crap! |
I think it's a joke that they don't have a par 5 in the last TWELVE holes.
|
Is there a female playing? No? Then not interested. :)

Yes. Phil Mickelson. |

He has bigger breat than Annika. |
Hey, no insulting Lefty.
|
You mean the choker?
|
Oh you shall rue the day you insulted Lefty.
Well? Start rueing! |
I think I'll just skip the rueing today if you don't mind. My agent and union is recommending that I appeal your ruling on the rueing.
|
I'd like to remind you, Judge BookalackaRueThemAll is in my pocket. Your appeal will fall upon the deaf ears of a corrupt legal system.
May as well rue now and get it over with, or rue later, with a court order. |
Who the heck is Tom Gillis?
|
Doby's brother?

I knew a Dobie Gillis joke was coming....I just didn't want to be the one to float it out there :) |

The rest of the year ![]() |
I wish Chris Berman would shut up.

So does Fritz. What's your point? |
Geez, some English guy (Brian Davis) has started eagle, birdie, birdie, birdie.
|

That they're sexier women than Annika? |

He just got a double bogey. So now the tally is: Eagle, birdie, birdie, birdie, double-bogey in 5 holes. |
I knew I'd jinx him. Too bad I'm only able to scoreboard watch right now.
|
Coverage just switched to NBC for the next two hours, hookup some rabbit ears on that B&W.

Didn't he play basketball at Duke? I wonder if Christian Laettner is caddying for him. I think they were good friends. I apologize in advance. Dobie Gillis was a lay-up. This one is probably an 18-foot jumper that clanged off the rim. |
How about Tom Watson as the co-leader at -5?? That's awesome, especially considering his longtime caddy (Bruce Edwards) has ALS / Lou Gehrig's disease and is still carrying the bag.
|
Its awesome C-tac.
My father-in-law died two years ago from ALS, and if I ever see anything so awful happen to a human being I will be stunned. I applaud the courage of Edwards. Also have to give Watson due credit. I first heard about Edwards having ALS a couple of months ago while watching an event he was in (the Masters?). The announcers mentioned that, like most caddies, he had no health insurance. They reported that Watson is covering the medical bills. |
