Question:

Do you ask the bat be confiscated and tested?

I would. I'd try to play with the guy's head as much as I could. Remember, I'm one of the "morons" who actually believes Sosa's story. Still, why wouldn't you challenge him a little?

Because he had already split a bit earlier in the game with no cork. It'd be pretty classless to do.

If that happened and I managed the Cubs, I'd have every Cincy bat confiscated after every at bat for testing.

Plus, you would put your star player in jeopardy of getting beaned, hard, with a pitch.

Maybe so. . . but I'm not sure I wouldn't have taken the PR hit. The chance to mess with his psyche seems pretty high.

Maybe I'm just a twisted guy. :)
