I saw this article in my paper this morning. It summarized exactly why I can't play Madden. For those of you not familiar with him, Jason Whitlock is, by far, the least knowledgeable, most arrogant and fattest sports "columnist" in America.

Knowing him, he wrote the article hoping that EA would send him a free game and that some lapdog would post the column on Internet message boards. :)

Well, this article was great until I read kcchief's comments! :)

Go Illinois!!!!!! Sigh.......all they need are wide receivers.......and a defense.......and a quarterback......a good quarterback.......yep I miss Brandon Lloyd, Walter Young, Moorehead......they caught passes.......

Illinois returning wideouts have 1 catch combined. Sigh. But I feel it. I just hope they dont lose to San Jose State again. :(

I think that every sports fan has a team like cincinatti they root for Kodos. Yours happens to be the Hoosiers football program.

For someone else it might be Utep's football program.

And for alot of people its probably the University of Texas football program :D

Most journalists these days are whores to one corporate interest or another, so his claim is not entirely inaccurate.
