my new computer case arrived (early) for the system I'm building, and I learned that the Avs have signed Kariya AND Selanne.

nothing will spoil my good mood today.

Hey, we got Hatcher. Federov can go play with himself.

Now all we need to do is ultimately bring Modano back home where he belongs - and get rid of CuJo - and I'll be happy.

Damn, some nice moves that I don't think anybody saw coming for the Avs. Now, as long as Dom comes back to the Wings and we sign Hatcher, maybe the Western Conference Finals can get back to the way they are supposed to be, Avs/Wings ;)

Wow, hope the Avs can just a hold of some goaltending now...

Well, the Avs made a lot easier for me to root against them now.

and, it gets better...

Verizon FINALLY found (and fixed) the source of the static on our phone line - we've had off and on static on the phone ranging from mild irritant to "can't even hear you" for about 2 months, and today it's finally fixed. no more hasty phone calls, no more dropped internet connections.

today, indeed, is a good day.
