Expierence Question
 

I have been reading a few threads and notice alot of talk about expierence. Most(just about all) of my guys have wretched expierence. I have fielded mostly the same team all of last season with some minor changes. How does player and team expierence compile and how much of an effect does it actualy have?

The general consensus on the Hattrick boards is that it takes about 22! weeks on average. The 22 might as well be a median though since it's very hard to tell exactly when one player will bump. Your captain seems to move up much faster as will anyone who plays in cup matches or, drool, national team matches.

Experience is 90% random.

There is no general consenus about experience that I have ever seen.

I dont think its random. My guys seems to level up once ever season (well a bit over a season). This is for starters that play in leagues matches. If they played in more than league matches (cups and friendlies too) it is a bit less than a season.

I never thought it was random until I had a goalkeeper who went from disastrous to wretched to poor over the course of 2 games.

Compare that with two of my full-time starters who've played every league game for 1 1/2 seasons and still haven't bumped from wretched.

Yeah there are some odd cases, but I don't think it's as random as people think. Looking at the graphs in HAM, I've seen some trends over the last 5 seasons.
