NCAA 2004 League Set-Up

I would like to throw some ideas out there to maybe start something akin to what we had with Madden. I would like to see enough people for us to spilt into two conf. of sorts with the conf. champs at the end of the regular season.. with maybe corresponding bowl games for the rest of the runners up. I would suggest playing at AA and would perfer 5-6 min quarters unless there is a more realistic quarter time that is perferred out there :) I am going on vacation this saturday to the following saturday but wanted to at least get the idea off the ground so I could guage interest in this sort've thing.

It looks like this might be a hard sell. I could be interested in joining. I know running the FML was a pain, and it was really hard to get people to play games. Also, some people would quit without even bothering to tell anyone. All in all, it's a lot of work for the commissioner.

Still, I figured I might as well bump this in case some folks missed it. :)

I would be interested in it as well.

I would be interested... I was apart of FML and had a good time... I agree that it is a tough sell... I think that even if we get 4-6 people we can have a good tourney or something like that... Just to give us something fun to compete in... I don't know that an FML like venture would be a good idea again though with searching for people outside of FOFC or people who sort of jump on board that we can't be sure will participate...

So maybe a tourney of some kind (maybe even double elimination)...

We could even play several tourneys over the course of the next few months to get more people involved...

Yeah, tourneys might be easier, although I think we only finished one of those last year due to people quitting.

I wasn't paying attention to the Madden thing, but I'm up for this. Just tell me what's it about...is it online through the PS2?

Kodos 07-24-2003 05:13 PM

Yes it is, CC.

Now pick up that guitar and talk to me!

RainRaven 07-24-2003 07:14 PM

Tourneys would be a equally fine idea, I just had the best games online with this group and felt that playing againist you guys in a organized way would be a great way to go since even though the FML didn't run smoothly the games that were played were fair and exciting.
