DSL: Update
Well, today I came home from vacation, did all my chores (it's what the wife demands before computer/ps2 time), and fired up my DSL for the first time.
How did I live without it? If I ever see a 56K modem again, I think I'll smash it into pieces. Thanks again, to CenturyTel for finally getting DSL here in Troy. Everyone that's been here tonight, is calling CT tomorrow to order it. Time to watch a few Madden 2004 videos..... Todd |
I thought this was going to be about the other kind of DSL....

Mizzou......i know what you are saying 100%! I just got DSL a few weeks ago when i moved into an area of town that i could get it and i am loving it.........i just downloaded OOTP5 onto this computer since my laptop is off to get service and i loved the fact that it finished before i could even remember to check its progress. Have fun with it man.

Yes, indeed. It's nice to spend 15mins on the pc in the morning, instead of 1 hr.

Wow, sounds like you traded in your mother for a mom you can sleep with. :D |

:D Nah, I make it sound worse than it seems. She knows if I get on the pc, I'll put off house work. Todd |

Will you shut up!!! Any louder and my wife will hear you! :D FM |
If you have a chance to get cable instead of DSL...I would. It's much faster IMO.

It's not available. After years of dial-up, DSL works like lightning though, and I'm very happy with it thus far. Todd |

That's a "depending" situation. If your in an area with many people on cable (like a friend who lives in North Atlanta), the speed stinks. He is trying to switch. |

You make a good point. He's is right. I live in the county so my speeds are better than the ones who live in the city. |
