NSI versus Stars again...
 

I looked through the press announcements in my series today, and found that the Wildfire, who I beat 3-1 this past Sunday had posted this:

Coming off of a horrible and controversial loss to the dumbes in the cup, the wildfire lose again, but this time have no explanation for it. Outnumbering the terps by 27 to 23 1/2 stars ans losing by 2 points? The fix was in. The Fire will be back with a vengeance though.

Interesting he counted the stars (and that I think when I counted them, I thought I had 22.5 stars but I rarely if ever count properly...percocet and oxycontin don't help...)
BUT he didn't look at the game ratings:

Yes, his offense and defense were generally much better than mine, but his midfield rating is 2 levels lower than mine. So another example where the stars might suggest one expectation, but the NSI might suggest another, at least in the midfield...

One of those "could go either way" matches. And midfield's obviously even more important here than in upper levels (6 versus 4 leads to more possession than 10 versus 8; despite same NSI difference).

Either team winning would be fair. People like to whine of course, and seems your opponent's doing just that.

A roadside flower salesman and an amateur street pharmacist, that is a man with a dream. It nearly brings me to tears to see someone with your background making it.

I'm not making it yet. I still only dream of women and cars that I will never have as I suck suck on exhaust fumes and peddle roofies to junior high schoolers. I would probably be better off financially if I didn't have DSL hooked up to my flower bucket.

At least the suck suck you do is on exhaust fumes. For me, it is left to assorted farm animals and even those that aren't if times get tough.
