A Way to Keep Logos in Madden when moving a team
 

I haven't tried this myself, but supposedly it works.

Apparently this is what was posted on gamefaq's

In the relocation menu

First switch back and forth between NFL logo, and generic.

Select the generic logo so you can edit your uniforms.

Then switch back to your NFL logo and remove the disk from you PS2 system.

Replace the disk and press continue until it takes you back to the relocation menu.

Do not edit your uniforms any further go straight to finalize.

I've only done this one time, I'm not sure how often it works, etc. My only regret is that I did not include my logo at midfield! I will have to do it again.

I would have thought you did this in your Beta testing.

Actually, it was the NFL that didn't want people to be able to edit real uniforms, not EA. Just like NCAA didn't want the college game to have the tearing down the goal posts animation. :)

I admit it. I actually read articles about the game. I guess it is a bad thing to provide information that contradicts a clearly uninformed bash on what is generally regarded as the best game of its kind.

I'm sure my time would be better spent reading about the JBL. Fictitious, Japanese baseball leagues are a source of endless fascination for many folks, myself included. ;)

I will get started on that right away.

GB: I'm not getting hitched until the 31st, but I knew I wouldn't have enough time to finish before I leave next Wednesday for the East Coast. And things are pretty hectic these days around the homestead.


Madden certainly does not help me in terms of posting my dynasty. I basically have all of the games written up, but it is the story element that I have not really made much progress on at this point. Plus, I usually revise the game writeups before I post them, and that takes a little time.

For those who care, I tried this last night, and it actually works. Looks like the Falcons are getting an updated red uni after all. :)

It's alternates 9 and 11, i believe.

Oh, and I saw the new unis on TV. They are crap. The Falcon is too big on the helmet!

That's your beef? I could take that if it weren't for the ugly sleeves.

I tried it for the Xbox version and it seems to work(no need to remove the disc). The only problem is that it puts the logo on the helmet instead of just keeping the old helmet. This screws up the Eagles and Rams helmets, but it is better than before.

No, the sleeves are awful too. The too big Falcon is just the "capper." ;)
