No, I'm not mad. I can just see copycats springing up all over FOFC. I'd rather nip this one in the bud before it gets out of hand.

Well, sure it breaks the rules of use.... but dammit, sometimes pioneers have to break the rules!

Continue on to extrapolate a correspondence between VPI97 and Martin Luther King and/or George Washington.

Oh, I agree 100%! I'll also go as far as to say that based on past history, I can't imagine VPI misusing it in an annoying way. The problem with leaving the code out there for any Rabble-Rouser to copy and modify....well, you get the idea.

Funny and harmless, but in the wrong hands it could have caused problems, so Sky Dog deleted it so that people couldn't copy the code.

HTML button entitled 'Click me' that would automatically send a reply to the Solecismic thread with the body 'I love the Solecismic tribe!'

Nice. I hated to sound frantic, but being left out on such a monumental threadsplosion is like getting coal at xmas. I feel much better. In fact, I am going to go to the local WaWa and get myself and nice snack and drink.

What is a WaWa?

WaWa is like a 7-11 but much nicer inside and better food.

7-11 has food? I thought all they had were slurpies...

Alan, they have wrapped sandwiches that are never anymore than 12 days old. They also have fake rolls of beef called a "Hot Dog" that rotate on a crazy looking oven for weeks at a time.

Go figure.. And who said FoFc was not educational..

In a pinch, the hotdogs are not half bad.

Heh. There used to be a WaWa near Hopkins, actually in the bottom floor of a house/apartment. Behind that building was a frat house (Alpha Delta Phi, the jock frat), and they became known as the WaWas. The WaWa closed sometime around '93 - a Royal Fram [Farm] popped up across the street - and was replaced by the "University Mini Mart". Luckily for the frat, they kept the WaWa moniker (at least as late as last year ) and were not redubbed the "Minis".

FWIW, the name comes from the Indian name Wawa which is their name for Geese. If you ever see their logo, it has geese in it or something like that.
