OT: How can I determine memory speed?

I'd like to purchase an additional 512MB of DDR SDRAM. I've checked my motherboard manufacturer's site but couldn't find any answers. I have the manual and know the following:

- supports up to 3GB
- supports six memory banks using three 184-pin DDR DIMMs

I still don't know if it's parity or non-parity, nor the memory speed. Both I figure I'll need to know before buying some faulty RAM.

Mainboard: MS-6380 LE ATX
Processor: AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found this site to be pretty helpfull when it comes to RAM and their prices are good.

Actually, these days you want to make sure brands match up more than anything else. Many motherboards are very picky and will only accept certain brands. The speeds are all about the same these days, and you don't worry about parity or nonparity anymore with DDR.

That was easier than I thought it would be. Up 512MB certainly makes things flow much better now...

Thanks again.
