Clarett A Padres Fan!!!
 

I read something that struck me as odd when reading about ol' Maurice Clarett:

"Clarett smiled and waved as he left an almost three-hour long meeting at Ohio State's St. John Arena, accompanied by his grim-faced mother, Miechelle, and three attorneys. Clarett wore shorts, running shoes, a backward San Diego Padres cap and a Bob Marley T-shirt that said, "No More Trouble" on the back."

Being a (constantly disappointed) Padres fan myself, I can't imagine why a boy from Ohio would wear a San Diego cap.

Either he likes to root for the underdog, or the SD on the cap must be a substitute for some Columbus gang like the "Southside Dealers." ;)

Some people actually wear hats for seemingly no apparent reason connecting to them liking the team. For example, I have always disliked the Braves, and you guys know all about my hat.. :o

Yeah, I saw a press conference where Allen Iverson was wearing a retro Brewers jersey.
