Temporary rankings as of week 20.05
 
Had to work hard to get the rankings out tonight, as me and the wife are going to see Live tomorrow night :)

Here are the rankings as they stand after this week's league games. Since the cup matches are still to be played in the week and many teams may get better ratings in their cup match than in their league match, they will remain unofficial until after the cup matches for the week. On Wednesday, I will start a thread asking you to post your ratings for your cup match if you think they are better than your league match rating. Only teams that will have posted their cup ratings before the deadline I will have set will see their best ratings (between league and cup) used for this week. Once I will have posted the official (and final) rankings for the week, I will not go back and adjust for past weeks. Keep your eyes opened on Wednesday.

I'll get to the rankings in a moment, for now, some explanations...
- TW stands for "This Week"
- LW stand for "Last Week"
- The first set of numbers (to the left of the team names) represents the relative ranking of every team. A blank in either column means that team wasn't ranked that week.
- The second set of numbers (to the right of the FOFC member name) represents the rankings points scored for the last two week.
- The rankings points for a given week are calculated using a weighted moving average of that week's NSI points and the score of the previous two weeks' NSI points.
- "NSI points" is the sum of all your position ratings from your game report, with midfield counting as triple its value
- Ratings are scored with the base value set at disastrous = 1, wretched = 2, and so on.
- If your team doesn't play its game because of a walkover, your rating for the game in question will be ignored in the weighted average and the remaining ratings will be used.
- "exper" stands for the number of weeks of Hattrick experience the user has, that is the date of the day minus the date he got his team, divided by 7.

We are still hanging in there as the #6 team. I think we may slide a spot this week, as we play in the Cup and can't afford another MOTS.

It feels very wierd to be ranked ahead of DK. He IS the standard that most of us measure by.

This shit is BRUTAL. With virtually the same rating as 2 weeks ago, I have dropped 15 spots. You guys are too damn good.

I might have to quit Hattrick and take up bowling...

It has happened. Galesburg has now eclipsed their old Run and Shoot master to become the top R&S team in the rankings.

The circle is complete...

Even now, Galesburg scientists have shifted focus from ham & Pointy Stick research to crawfish recipes. Vats of butters and boiling water have been readied, and military assistance has been offered to North County, in preparation for any incursion by Crawfish.

Great work. I'm sorry I haven't been posting my ratings in recent weeks. Most of my time has been spent in Maine, where there is only a 56k connection and crappy computer. It might be a week or two more since I don't think I'll be getting my computer for school for at least a week after I go there.

These ratings confirm what I had though previously. My 68.2 rating is the best I have ever posted and yet I was schooled 4-0 in a matchup with the Chicks for Kicks. Coming off back to back series titles, the Bombers must now win the home match with the Kicks or lose the series crown. This is despite constant improvement in talent. Meh.

Now that is great that your leader can't even keep ahead of his students. He must have great knowledge! But if you choose to keep following a man in a tight white suit and funny hat go ahead. Of course you could come to reality and accept your fate that Crawfish with Laser Blasters instead of Claws is the only way to go.

Keep coming up with good recipes. It only fuels the hatred in the wild beasts! I hang them up in the pens. Then I poke them with sticks before letting them out. Trust me, those are some angry angry Crawfish!
