N.M. Kicker First Woman to Score in D-1

Story here.

Damn. Guess there's no reason for UTEP to keep Holly Cohen on the team any more...

Friggin Lobos....

Funny, with the rep college football players have, you think that lots of women would have scored previously in D-1..

In fact, I hear there's a couple paternity suits going on about women scoring in D1 ;)

(Bad joke I know, but I HAD TO KILL THE JOKE BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE USED IT)

I was attempting to come up with something funny.

I got nothing.

Afoci: How about this:

"If we didn't have any arguments about women's sports before we do now. Are you saying in the history of women's softball, basketball, volleyball and gymnastics... NO ONE HAS EVER SCORED BEFORE?"

(note the topic doesn't say first woman to score in D-1 FOOTBALL :)

How about this:

So they all really are lesbians?
So there has never been a female alter boy before?
Hope she says good things about me.

The locker room situation must be awkward...

I was gonna go with....

That's strange, I had heard that your sister scored with the entire South Carolina team...

But then I decided that might be mean. No offense, NoMyths... :)

So, is she hot or what?

JeeberD 08-31-2003 03:45 PM

This is the only pic that Google pulled up for me...

So in answer to your question....not so much.

Tekneek 08-31-2003 03:58 PM

Yeah, seems that way. Too bad. When I was a freshman in high school, there were two girls who made the freshman team. They were the toughest looking people on the team.

In other news, the New Mexico womens field hockey foward - Bubba Raynoch - scored 9 points in his first game.

NYFAN 08-31-2003 04:50 PM

In a recap, nobody cares about a girl named Bubba.
