TCY 1.2 Depth Chart Screw Up
 

I just played my first season with TCY 1.2 and have found it really screws up your depth chart settings, especially on defense. What I noticed is it doesn't even come close to running the defense according to my depth charts. I noticed things like no DTs starting, ever. I'll see 3 or 4 ILBs starting instead or maybe 5 DEs and only 2 LBs. Then the secondary is way hosed. Maybe one of my three starters actually plays and walk ons wind up starting.

I know previous versions had similar problems, but I usually could fix it by restarting the game before playing a game. Now nothing I do works. I've tried re-doing the depth charts, rebooting/restarting the game, nothing seems to work. Funny, but the offense seems to run just fine. Anyone else notice this? Anyone else have any idea how to fix it?

I've seen it, but not since version 1.0b. Had to do with resuming a saved game from a previous version, IIRC.

I think I got it worked out, but I have to close out and restart after every sim. Normally I watch my team sim, then save and close out. Then I restart and play everyone else before going on to next week. If I close out after playing all the sims and start over ready for the next week then my rosters are followed.

I've downloaded all the patches so it's pretty wierd I have the problem while others don't.
