I personally love making my own wallpapers. I just got done with my latest, it is very simple and I don't know if I like the background, but it is always changeable. Post yours.

Here's mine. It's a scan of an ad from our cellular company.



My wife wrote the note on the post-it. "Steve et Andrew (le matin)" means "Steve and Andrew (in the morning)". Steve is me, Andrew is our son, and it seems we both sport that kind of hairdo when we get up in the morning. I don't know what she's talking about :D :p

Man, how can you people have icons scattered all over your desktop like that? I gotta have them arranged all nice and neat on the left side of the screen...

Jeeber, mine are organized..sort of.

The top row I use very often. The tools on the right, I barely use, but are easily accessible for me.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th rows I barely use. The next row are my programming tools.

Then the bottom two rows are the ones I use most often and are in the most convenient place for me. (Except for winamp. I need to get rid of that.)

I need my desktop to be organized as well. I hate having a full screen of icons when I really only use 5 on a consistent enough basis to warrant desktop status.

I'm not sure how to post my desktop. I'm sure there is some old topic about how to do it but I can't find it for some reason. If someone could help me out or point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

I had that one for a while too. Now I just have alternating beige and darker beige horizontal stripes :) (I have so many windows open I can't see the background anyway).

JeeberD: thanks. I wish I could take more credit for it, but I must admit that mother nature had a lot to do with that shot turning out. :)

Alf: Bryce is a good guess (and perhaps one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen), but this picture was taken at Arches.

I used to be excited about this picture, and then I found out that it's a composite shot, not a real photo. That lessened my enthusiasm. Still pretty cool though.

Playboy's pictures aren't completely real either, but they can still inspire a certain excitement and enthusiasm. :)
