Don't you hate it when.....

sorry for not just saying it, but this will get more people here

Don't you hate it when you're talking to a girl, and she just casually mentions something about her boyfriend? Why do they do this?

MrBug708 09-06-2003 10:34 PM

So she doesn't lead you one?

Because they are generally evil creatures, especially on a Saturday night if you have been drinking.

When should they mention their boyfriend? The second date?

I now believe that all people should be required to wear giant tags on their clothing stating whether or not they are in a relationship with another person.

Yes, this happened to me today, and also yes, I'm very upset about it.

possibly before they flirt with you?

Been there. Of course, it was 14 years ago....

When a girl casually mentions something about her boyfriend in a conversation, this is code for "After talking to you for awhile, I've decided that you have no chance, and thus I am putting up a boundry so that you won't try."

I gotta say that's a good thing not a bad thing. I would think it would be more evil and manipulative to lead someone on.

Gotta agree. Better this, than being led on half the night before realizing you wasted your time because the girl won't do anything with you.
