Lineup Advice; MOTs or Not?

Well, I'm in need of some help here (and I just referred my opponent to this board...great :)), as I have a dilemma.

I posted this in the Week 11 ratings thread...
Code:

  Team                                Goals        Points
1) Tiburones Negros                46-7        27
2) Epoxy United                        34-9        26
3) Isla Vista Vandals                40-10        25
4) St. Louis Imperfect Assembly        32-16        23

Remaining Schedule -
Team                12                13                        14
Tiburones        vs. DeAnza (5)        @ Swansea AFC (7)        vs. Vandals (3)
Epoxy                vs. Tantrum (6) vs. DeAnza (5)                @ SLIA (4)
Vandals                @ SLIA (4)        vs. FC Fullerton (8)        @ Tiburones (1)
SLIA                vs. Vandals (3)        @ Tantrum (6)                vs. Epoxy (2)

If I win out, and the final week game of SLIA vs. Epoxy ends in a draw or Epoxy loss, I get a promotion match...How do you think I should treat the game vs. SLIA?

Right now my Team Spirit is Composed (MOTs two weeks ago to the former #1 team). Away at Normal, my team should have a slight midfield edge, and with a PIC I'd have a slightly less than 1 level of disadvantage in the midfield. My attack is better than his (Solids across vs. his passables), while his defense is better than mine (Solid vs. my Passable/Solid).

I match up against Tiburones favorably...he's a Keeper trainer, and while his defense ratings are Excellent+, his midfield and attack are worse than mine (Home Inadequate midfield...I suspected a MOTs during that game as well). I also beat him 2-0 while PIC-ing in game 1, though his midfield has improved since then.

Other questions...

Should I train General this week, with the key match coming up? I'm in some form problems...notably:

Alfred Poe, 28 yo Wretched Form
Solid Defense
Weak Wing

Alfred was injured and missed four weeks, and has been in wretched form since his injury for the last four weeks (he plays every week...my backup defenders are at best Inadequate). He's a starting wingback for me.

Casey Nava, 19 yo Weak Form
Solid PM
Inad Stamina (youth pull this year)
Weak Passing

On the downward form curve (dropped from Passable to Weak two weeks ago), worried about a further drop before the game.

Esteban Jose Pinilla, 23 yo Weak Form
Passable Wing
Inad PM/Passing
Exc Stam
Poor Experience

A 2.5 star winger in Passable form, only 2 stars now, he also seems to be on the downward trend.

Patrick Hewitt, 28 yo Inadequate Form
Solid D
Poor Wing/Experience

My other wingback (since acquiring my Exellent defender), He's been at Inadequate Form for a while.

Tuncer Kuscu, 30 yo Weak Form
Solid Wing
Passable PM
Excellent Stam
Weak Experience

Kuscu can get 3 stars in Passable form. Only 2.5 in Weak, though.

Think training general is worth it?

I'd say training General is worth it, the MOTS isn't

Never train general, unless you train stamina for 3 or more weeks (like when you first start).
