Anyone heard of/played this game?

looks interesting, though not finished fully from what i saw.....

Yep, good game if you're into that sort of thing.

Not sure what it was, but I lost interest rather quickly in it, I'm not a big Sci-Fi fan though. It does seem like a very well polished game.

It's a finished game though, do a search, we had a few threads on it when it first came out.

I like it a lot. I have sooo many other games that I haven't played it in months, but if you like turn-based strategy, it's a pretty good deal.

I'd probably buy it if it were really cheap. Looks interesting enough.

I have one available for $18.

I would say GalCiv is the best Space 4x game available, but it does have its shortcomings (always the same opponents, no customizing ships/bases). Like all Space 4x games, there are things I don't like (as I just stated), but of all the things it does well compared what other Space 4x games do well, and this one comes out on top.

I'm still waiting for the great Space 4x game to some along...maybe I'll just have to make it.

Bought it back in April. Got a good month of play out of it. Well worth it and they are consistently tweaking and modifying the game.

I enjoyed it, and the support level from the devs is fantastic. Unfortunately the gameplay gets a little stale after a while.
