TCY: Bowls of Playoffs?
 

Do you use the bowl system or playoff system?

I confuse myself on this one. As much as I dislike the bowl system and want a playoff system in real life, I find myself playing virtually every TCY career with the bowl system. Go figure. :confused:

I use the playoffs in any dynasty where I'm a Sol8 team, and bowl games usually when I dont. I usually use a Sol8 team though.

Same here. I like the idea of a playoff system, but I want the game to feel more "real" to me. Plus, beating the BCS system adds another challenge to the game entirely.

I probably would use playoffs, but I don't like how it adds to the seasonal and career stats of the players in the playoff games. Skews that stats way to much for me. (EDIT: At least it used to be like this. Has it changed in a patch?)

I use the BCS for realism.

BCS, although the playoff system sounds interesting.

I am a huge proponent of a D I-A playoff (the BSCS is the most cynical money grabbing scheme foisted on paying sports fans since the 1919 World Series Fix), but nonetheless, I run the bowl system in TCY...mainly due to the stats being padded by playoff games issue, and the fact that it adds to the challenge of winning an MNC.

Oops, being too used to the survivor system, I voted for playoff instead of bowl system which I really do use...

Although the bowl system is more challenging(you pretty much have to go undefeated to have a shot), I find the playoffs much more interesting at the end of the season--a lot of times the same old 7-4 teams get matched up in the same old minor bowl year after year. The playoffs make every game mean a lot more, I think. You get a lot of early round mismatchesin the playoffs, too, which occasionally result in cool upsets.
