Can anyone mirror the d/l?
 

Just wondering if someone who has the game could upload it to take some of the heat off of the Via-Tech download. Just an idea.

I'm going to be doing that shortly.

That was my thought...I'll put up a short term mirror when I get the file. (1 hour 30 min down, ?? to go)

Once I get it, I'll do likewise....

..but right now it is saying I have 2 hours and 43 minutes to go!

I would be happy to do the same also, but I'm pretty much losing the race. Still got about 1hr 37 minutes or 10 minutes less than an hour ago. Doh!

You know, to get the game distributed fastest, it would make sense if the guys who have server space would download from mckerney's site first, and then upload it to their sites.

Can one download without going through VT? I assume you need a code to activate the game?

Yes...you can download from anywhere, but the VT code unlocks the game.

Yes, you can download anywhere. The ordering process is simple, and gives you your order ID code. I already have my ID code. I just need the executable.

Then why i @%!$# is everyone being so impatient downloading from VT? One person could have done it quickly and then let everyone go to the mirror sites. Y'all coulda been playin' by now.

That's what I've been trying to tell 'em...

We could have six or eight mirrors going pretty quickly.
