Anyone have a guesstimate on when a patch might find its way out?

Usually he has put one out 1-2 weeks after release.

Well, I was just thinking (having a marketing degree and all) that it would be somewhat disastrous to have a whole bunch of MP leagues start up and then have a patch come out that wipes the league. Like my league, the USFL, at home.comcast.net/~ashmunes......were waiting on the patch before we get it rolling. The alternative to the negative of this is the positive (obviously) which would be a whole bunch of MP's opening, being hugely succesful and spreading throughout the Sim world thus bringing Jim tons of money and potential customers for years to come. So my question is not without merit? Again, I ask.....Are we talking a week, month, or months? If anyone has any intimate knowledge, it would be nice to hear from them.

past history indicates about a month. it takes time to log bugs, fix them, test them, make sure you didn't create any new bugs...

I think he will have one very soon over the tcy import issue, probably by tuesday than it will be a couple of weeks before the next one that addresses more issues.

Yep, as long as Jim is back I would expect one showing up early next week to fix as least the TCY import bug. Beyond any other game running issues, a bigger patch will probably take a month or so.
