The Superfecta Honors

This is a beautiful sight. I hung in with this guy for 8 years and it finally paid off with a ring. Won the Superfecta of Honors.

Hey, as little as I get to play the game, this is a big deal.

wbatl1 11-17-2003 07:35 PM

Darn smart dude. To me, thats a good sign that a quarterback with very good skills but not neccisarily the best can be very succesful, just like in the NFL

korme 11-17-2003 07:39 PM

How many picks did he throw? That 100 in Avoid Interceptions has to be huge.

FrogMan 11-17-2003 07:41 PM

and that 100 in read defense is vry nice too...

FM

wbatl1 11-17-2003 07:42 PM

that boy knows where to throw the ball.

Fritz 11-17-2003 07:43 PM

how long did it take him to get 16 formations?

kcchief19 11-17-2003 07:43 PM

Hehe ... his name is weiner.

:)

wbatl1 11-17-2003 07:45 PM

just noticed-his style is long passes, but those are his weakest atributes, 61 and 32.

Senator 11-17-2003 07:45 PM

wbatl1 11-17-2003 07:46 PM

34/4 td/int ratio

Brilliant

Senator 11-17-2003 07:46 PM

You don't know how tempted I was to change his name, but what the heck.

This is the first year he had 16 formations.

Senator 11-17-2003 07:47 PM

Dola:

I don't know if this has been determined to matter, but he really blossomed when I brought in Kordell Stewart to mentor.

wbatl1 11-17-2003 07:49 PM

Did you bring him in just before 2012. If you did, he sure did blossom. 11 less picks, 8 more TDs, 1200 more yards, 12% better comp percentage

Senator 11-17-2003 07:51 PM

I brought him in before 2007.

I had a really bad offensive line in 2011 and got a stud Tackle in the draft and another in free agency. It all came together. And that is rare for a clown like me.

that is the funniest thing I have ever heard.

Senator 11-17-2003 08:32 PM

In the world of fantasy, even this is possible. As you can see.

Dutch 11-17-2003 09:01 PM

Glad to see you hung with weiner. Looks like things finally started swinging his way.

Senator 11-17-2003 09:04 PM

Oscar Meyer to his friends.

korme 11-17-2003 09:11 PM

ROFLMWAO!!!!

HornedFrog Purple 11-17-2003 09:25 PM

546 pass attempts?!?!?! Disgusting....

Eaglesfan27 11-17-2003 10:26 PM

I've had QB's with over 600 attempts in my recent seasons.

Wasabiak 11-17-2003 10:31 PM

So what kind of stats do your RB's have? Do you run the ball much? Just curious.

Eaglesfan27 11-17-2003 10:33 PM

My Leading RB had 236 carries, but Duce usually gets 10-15 carries a game with McNabb passing the ball 40 times approximately. I have a 40-60 run-pass ratio in my gameplan though so it is odd. Most of my passes are short passes with plenty of screens to Duce and Jon Ritchie.

Edited to add: McNabb has been my leading rusher in several games.

tucker342 11-17-2003 11:44 PM

34/4 TD/Ints.... incredible

There, there HFP. This oughta make you feel better:

Ben E Lou 11-18-2003 05:38 AM

You'll notice that as Vick has started to come into his own, I've opened up the offense the last two seasons. ;)

Pacersfan46 11-18-2003 05:46 AM

Peyton Manning throws for almost 600 attempts a year .... and they obviously run the ball. It's not that bad.

Senator 11-18-2003 06:43 AM

Had 2 backs share the load.

Ben E Lou 11-18-2003 06:45 AM

I'm using Paint to copy/paste my screen shots. Any idea how I can get rid of all that white space at the bottom???

Samdari 11-18-2003 06:51 AM

SkyDog, real players? What's next, attempting passes on first down?

The problem (for me) is that without a truly fictional universe, I kept finding myself trying to figure out who the real players were in the demo. I always find the real players/fake names universes more annoying than anything else. I had already immersed myself in this career when the fictional universe creation utility showed up. If the patch changes QB numbers significantly, I'll definitely re-start my career at that point, and with a truly fictional roster.

Have you tried cropping off the extra space?

Yeah, but it didn't work in Paint for some reason. I found some other picture software on my hard drive that came with my scanner, and it works fine.

Bonegavel 11-18-2003 11:43 AM

Paint shop pro is the best of the "affordable" paint programs. They used to offer a downloadable version that was pretty functional.
